For me, its the Wintersaber Frostsaber mount; a long time ago I take the first quest and after 1 hour of farming, i let it down before even ending it; this quest would have earned my first 50 reput points for them; exalted required to get the mount...

at no point my intention was to look down upon pve players with irony or sarcasm. i play on a pvp server, and the part i enjoy most is pve, despite the distraction of some pvp from time to time. the serve rsomeone plays on is his personal choice. i do apologize to have hurt anyone's feelings again. */edit*

well Im not that sure, it depends on the reputation you want to up. Argent dawn, thorium brotherhood and others, are not supposed to be exclusively performed for the goal, it doesnt have to be dedicated farming (though it can be, its a choice), and the rewards are multiple, you know some craft plans and items are awaiting for you; now for AQ, runing various instances are required, its far less boring that farming winterspring bears and vywerns (wowwiki says we need to end the quest 840 times... is it to separate the casual harcore gamer, the real hardcore gamer and the gamer who has nothing left in life but a few hours to sleep). This serie of quests has no other goal than the final reward, same for the timbermaw ring, you dont focus on chain killing the fulborgs (at least after revered) unless you want that ring.
For AQ I didnt know about that, all we had to do when they released these instances last year was to collect skills raw materials (cloth, mineral ores, flowers...), the tribute of the 2 factions was summed till we hit the threshold (im not quite sure about possible other requirements, i wasnt really involved in the process).

I really miss wild pvp, sweets running one after another in Stonetalon, jungle squads in Strangle or those undead rogues waiting for casters to land at the Light's Hope Chapel my paladin hit 60 and now all is left is the permanent gold raid to MC and BWL (at least Im going to make money).. or if TBC is finally released that will bring back the interrest of exploring a new continent...

hehe Im thinking about heading to timbermaw exalted, I like the idea of a having a healing pet (though its lasting is much too short).

I have that trinket also as I was required to grind in that timbermaw village as part of the quests for the winterspring tiger.
The ghost timbermaw "maybe" heals you for 400 health usually once, rarely twice. Its not something to write home about.
It does sometimes zap the guy you are fighting with some thunderspell, but also not for alot.

Well let it say, that sucks, but he is a cutie little fulborg, is able of casting lightning and can heal as well (the only pet in the whole game that can heal i think). In fact, I think his efficiency was designed according to pvp, but in pve it means nothing: even versus the bosses of such an easy FB than MC, is it worth calling it? after weeks and weeks of farming i think thats not really fair, with low hp it could have a duration of 2 or 5mins (at least).

You got a point, this little skeleton was a nice tank, but you said it has been nerfed, didnt you; blizzard found it was unfair that players might have fun with a pet, is that so? sometimes i dont understand blizzard commercial strategy...

(btw Naklin yeah I think mage will be even more magnets for teleport/water beggers after the release of TBC)(but you can migrate to Darna, cant you that was my official home when i played mage, i only teleported to iron when need to start a fly trip from there)

The Netherwind quests aren't the same ONLY quests. They're dailies.

For me it was back in 2005, the quest a Grim message where you are supposed to farm trolls in the hinterlands and plant their skull in a village. Must have been running in arathi for about 1day before finding why skulls didn't want to drop...

for me it was the epic chain quest called "Smooth Transition"

basically gotta sit on ya ass playing lesser games and wait for these wanker corporations to get of their greedy ass and hand the player community back its game
