I'm considering starting to play on a Taiwanese server to practice my chinese. I've been reading the very nice informational threads, but still have some questions!
If you know the answer to some of my questions, your help is very much appreciated!

1) I'm considering an hourly subscription as I won't have that much time to play!
Can someone explain how it works and how much it costs compared to a monthly subscription?

2) I want to start playing after cataclysm is released. Will I need all the keys like Original WOW, TBC, WOTLK and Cataclysm? If not, which ones? At what website could I buy TW keys for cheap?

3) Can I play from a european IP without a proxy/vpn? What's the latency like from Europe, is it playable? For example I wouldn't have a problem with ~500ms if it's stable and without lag. Anyone playing from Europe, please share your experience!

4) Regarding clients I'm undecided. Probably going with a full TW client. But I would like simplified characters. Is there a way to use simplified characters in the TW client? Is it even a good idea socially to use simplified characters when chatting with Taiwanese players, or does noone care?

3 The lag is pretty terrible from Europe, possibly 1xxx +
So you might need a proxy or an ISP with a good link to TW
4 Not sure about this one, havent seen SC on the TW servers
try both china and tw servers and choose the one with least lag

I heard mainland china is really behind on content, so it'll have to be on tw!
