Question: In-game mails unreadable

Hi, I have encountered a problem with getting mails in-game. I am playing on TW servers on the US client. When I get an in-game mail from another player in Chinese, it shows up as mojibake like these Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£". I am wondering if anyone can help me solve this problem. I tried installing new font files but it didnt work for me...

Did you use Bolo's Font pack?

I believe so. Bolo's font pack is the one from this portal right...?

haha i'm not entirely sure. I downloaded the font file somewhere in this forum.

I think the font required to read chinese in mailbox isn't in the pack. Gotta see if i can fix this issue one of these days.

Yes its the Font file in One of the Threads. You Need to install it to Be able to See the Chinese charachters!

Ipgumby, I've an idea that will maybe work. In the Fonts folder

1. rename the morpheus font into morpheus.bak
2. make a copy of FRIEND file and rename the copy into morpheus

then tell me if you can read your mail in chinese then.

my morpheus font is 67k and mails are fine
