1. Getting everything that you need !

you will need the following:

1. A Chinese Authenticator They look like this
Dont get other authenticator then this they simply dont work not even those nice colorfull taiwan version ones
2. Login in to your wow account: link

2. Here we go !

1. After you login click on the button circle in red.

If you have multiple accounts Make Sure! you click on the wow account to which you want to enable to authenticator to first!

2. Click on the right side tab with picture of authenticator on it.

3. Click on the big blue button, you will now recieve an e-mail.

4. In the e-mail there is a link, click on it !

5. You will go to the page where you have to activate the authenticator.
See below:


Box 1: Fill in the serial number that can be found on the back of your authenticator.
Box 2: Press the black button on your authenticator, a code will magicly appear put this in the second box.
Box 3: Press the black button on your authenticator again, another code will appear. add this into box no. 3.

Click the big blue button!

6. Victory !
if you see the image as below you've succesfully secured your account.


PS: Before I waste any hackers time the pictures of the e-mail the bnet account and fake serial of authenticator are all from here!

Where can one purchase said authenticator? I WAS using a netease labeled one.... but it oddly has an expiry date for last month. wtf lol

Weird that you have an expiry date. I've got NetEase authenticator 将军令. Its red and white with a black button. You should be able to buy one on taobao or even go to a legit gamestore to get one.

Stixx ... can you add some picture how the bnet china authenticator looks like? and where to buy them?
