A french in a Shanghai's cyber cafe

Hello there,

So i'm in China for some days, and i would like to know, if it's posible for me to play at WOW. I tried to create a chinese account, done well, have free hours, but cannot understand chinese quests.. hehe.. btw, i also play on private servers but the version of those WOW are too recent, so maybe is there a fast way to change the version of the game (here 1.12.3, i need 1.12.1 or .2) ?

Hey french compatriot ^^

Me too I was in a big bullshit to play wow in china ^^
So here what I discovered:
You can play wow with a french version in China, the technic is written in the forum (look in te topic how to play, etc.) but to resume you just have to setup the french version until the 1.12.1 version and then just copy some files in the wow file.
Concerning private servers, if they are chinese I can't help you much Sad

But if they are in french you will need to setup the french version (yeah I know that s**** but you need to setup 2 wow on your computer Shocked

)

I hope I coul answer a little bit, or another thing for your help if it takes too much time to setup, just do like me: corde01

I got a thing. If you want to play in chinese (easier, cuz u can read and write chinese) you go on www.wowchina.com and then you will see a link called "WOWSHELL". You download it and you will see all your quests will be explained.

BTW, I'm looking for an add-on that make appear chinese caracters on french version, if u got one call me thx.

je sais que je vais avoir l'air chiant, mais tout est deja explique dans la section FAQ du forum...

On peut jouer avec une version etrangere et faire apparaitre les caharacteres et ecrire en chinois.
