i remember back in Cwow there were promos for Coke and the possibilities to win a dragonling pet, correct me if am wrong, it was just like drinking a lot of coke cans and see if you are lucky enough to pop out a serial number which you inserted in the game's npc and get a mail with the mentioned pet.

There was another GM contest too; the gm asked some in-game questions in chinese and the winner got a pet.

What am wondering here has anyone got a pet out of these stuffs, in the game there are a lot of pets that i never got to get, like the murloc, the diablo pet, a RIDABLE turtle and a mini panda.

i juts know that in france you got panda, mini diablo or mini zergling with the collector edition of wow (out of stock now). For the ridable turtle it is with the wow card game (there are very rare loot cards that can give you ingame items)
