Well...after a great big NOTHING yet again today as far as patching goes, I'm ready to tell The9 to kiss my ass. I'm interested in starting again on the Taiwan servers, but can't seem to figure out the registration. Any help?

Blizz started partial downloads of the 2.0 patch well in advance of the actual release for the USA servers. I'm sure we'll get 2.0/TBC eventually, but I'm highly doubting we'll have TBC by the May 1st that many originally speculated.

I'm guessing that if I played on a Hong Kong server, there would be FAR MORE english speakers as well.

1 - TBC will not arrive before a long time
2 - fuckin chinese regulation WILL be setted and prevent people from playing more than 3 hours a day
3 - gold raids are killing the game

and there arent that many English speakers here, i only know of around 20

if we can play with US version nand if the connection is not too slow, i might come

I eard too about the regulation / time playing, a friend told me that. it's unbelivable !!! She told me the regulation will arrive this summer... It is true ? If yes they are crazy in this country !

i think the change is not a rumor, but we will have to wait the real consequences and how much THE9 will respect the law... The only possible impact would be for people that used fake chinese IDs to make characters (most of us)...

4) AGAIN, and AGAIN AGAIN, TBC will be here quite soon, gold raids ain't killing anything, players are, the english speaking amount of people in hong-kong, where i lived is about as shit-crap-pisspoor as in china.


we are lucky to have a little community to happily play together...
and we are actually getting more over time.
splitting people, making them move out of fear and wailing in all directions because of impatience and being in the dark (the only thing i can actually say the 9 does bad.. keeping people in the dark), doesn't help anyone. it doesn't.

the9 offe3rs up to date the probably strongest and best server clusters for WoW worldwide, for those who like to ang about it everyday.
we have about 1/10 of the downtime the EU and the US servers have with their constant server maintenance and realm shit.
on our servers you will notice about as much as almost no lag when 4 raids crash with 3-4 other raids in a major city, whereas EU / US server literally CRASH when you have 1 raid facing another in THE BARRENS...... let alone a city.

please, give me a break. whoever doens't like them... gimme a good reason except the fact that "TBC aint out yet".
it pisses me off, too. but constant nay-saying and nagging and darkpainting doesn't help.

You can like The9 as much as you like, but I'm still quite unhappy with the company in general. Not only for the late release of TBC, but for the shit customer service. I NEVER did get my level 40 mount for my lock from when the quest was bugged. I did end up completing the epic quest however.

I've seen a lot of disregard for the fact that there are many botters, and the9 couldn't care less. They don't seem to want to be bothered with banning anyone and losing a little revenue.

Really I created this topic in hopes that someone would give me a hand with registering on the TW servers, but the thread hasn't been on topic from even the first post.

for the9... i dont like them esp.
in our cases the GM checked for the bugs and re-instated us always with what we needed. sorry for your tough luck
that they dont ban botters and buggers.... yap, true.
then again, i hope you are not one of those lame people telling on others like "GM, GM, quickly, there are 10 botters there, i see them, i screenshotted / captured it, have names and accounts or come for yourself and ban them"
those peeps a re worse than botters.

the GMs get hard though when people exploit bugs for horrifing players, ie, being invincible and thus being able to slaughter half of org (that peep got banned).
i just dont see botting as that big a problem.
maybe because on our server we are lucky.
maybe because the chinese in random groups dont play as a group anywyas, so i couldn't care less if 5-10 people afk, because it wont make the difference.

if u have 2.0.8 or better you can try logging onto my server and test the ping

from here i might be able to arrange vpn so you can get a better ping to TW

i normally get 1xx ping to TW not great but best not be the MH in any 40raid
