Running version 2.3.3 English version on Chinese servers _

Hi, I'm a new member with a set up question. I've been reading tons of set up questions and answers in the forums, but it seems all the info is for older versions. I am brand new to WoW. Last week I started an account with the9.com, installed the Chinese version, had it patched up to 2.3.3, and was playing fine for a few days. But I really want to switch to the English version. I downloaded the installer from Blizzard, installed 2.0.0, and now I'm updating the patches to 2.3.3. I tried running English version 2.0.0 and it opened up but was unable to connect. I figured the patches need to be updated to match the current version on the Chinese servers. So now, I have both versions on my computer, but the current Chinese one won't connect anymore!

1) I know not to update ahead of the Chinese versions, but at this point they're equal, right?
2) I know about changing the realmlist.wtf, but are there any other files I need to change?

Thanks for the help.

OK I have everything installed, set up, and patched correctly. The menus show up in Chinese, the account is good to go. Everything is working fine. Here's what happened in case anyone else has trouble:

1) Download English version from Blizzard website
2) Get English version of Burning Crusade and install it
3) Install patches up to 2.3.3 (current Chinese servers version) AFTER you install Burning Crusade
4) Create a Fonts folder in the WoW root folder and put the Chinese fonts in it from the .zip linked to on this forum

I think the key for me was I had to install the patches AFTER TBC. Anyway, now I have a strange problem that I haven't seen yet...my realmlist file is changed to
set "cn1.grunt.wowchina.com" but when I get to the realmlist, it lists ALL the servers from cn4, none of the ones from cn1! Has anyone seen this before, or know of a way to fix it? I want to play on cn1 and I already have a character started on one of the servers. Please reply!
Thanks
