Hi there,

Since a while I'm remaking my WOW UI. Got all fresh addons, and making something clear, all is ready (frames, good places for all I wish) but one thing is missing Smile My textures. Creativity isn't missing, but technical step by step would be appreciated.

I had follow many tutorials about this, all are made with Photoshop, but I'm using TheGimp (similar, but menu and some options names change) My texture doesn't appear in Skinner or Kgpanels. (the way to go is right) but I miss something in the texture architecture. Due to a bad understanding and a "not same support". Made for PhotoShop and I use The Gimp.

Texture size have to be formed with power of 2 ex: 256*512 etc
Must be in 8bit or 32bit? not sure...
There must be some transparent layers (calques), but how many, which functions etc...

If someone have the experience to do that, let me know, I'm doing this atm, I could download cracked Photoshop and folow the steps same as a sheep, I believe it will be more simple... But I love The Gimp :p And I 'm more familiar with.

Thanks for help/understanding my bad english
