Currently living in Beijing and looking to join a local guild in a couple of weeks or so

For anyone interested I found a large and helpful guild on region 2 Naxxramas 纳克萨玛斯. Im the only foreigner in the guild, but they are helpful and make me feel welcome. If you want more info you can drop by and /join english or send an in-game mail to 'Buyout' or 'Nuna'

It was a "High" population server at the time, I think it wont show as locked during off peak hours. Try late at night or early morning.

If you are still around, join CN2 Kul Tiras 库尔提拉斯 ally side.

Not where I am at... I seem to be the only foreigner on the server, I wish there were more, but since I have 2 lvl 80 characters and 1 lvl 70 one, I'm in no hurry to leave.
I am usually treated fairly, especially my shaman, since everyone seem to like shamans, and I get good gear. I do however remember getting kicked out of teams on a number of occasions because my Chinese isn't very good, but that mostly happened with the druid.

I am at the Warsong (战歌) server. I am all that remains of the "Foreign Shards". My shaman is "Roar", my druid is "Hugechicken" and my warrior is "Braindead".

If someone does know of a way to move accounts from server to server please let me know, so that I can move to any Horde aligned guild with other foreigners.

Right now, there is no option to transfer. The most "valid" solution right now would be to make a DK on other servers. Check the 3rd line of my sig. (BB seems to be one of the most popular, but its status is currently unstable).

BB is on CN1 isn't it, but the thread is located in the following section:

Should I manage to overcome the lack of Chinese ID problem, and create an account on that server. Can I expect any assistance in power levelling?

I really don't want to be a DK. Shaman was my best experience so far.

you do have an account, don't you?

well if you do, then you can create a toon on any realm CN1, CN2 etc. no need to make another account, unless you allready have 50 characters, which is the limit to 1 account.
Even in that case, you could add another account to your battlenet account, using the same ID as you used for the first account.

well, BB is one of the realms with the most toons on it, so one of the most POPULATED, which doesn't necessarily mean POPULAR.

For example popular countries. Just because India has more ppl than Switzerland, doesn't mean India is more popular does it?


BB is one of the most populated realms, with MANY chinese players. Since Hugechicken might not be so familiar with the foreign community, he/she might get the wrong impression, that it is one of the realms with the most FOREIGNERS.

As I mentioned before, you are right Uru, he should make a DK and see how BB is

We are talking about servers mate You can consider these to be more based on preferance than anything else. In this case, the most populated servers are often the most popular. You know popular/populated..all comes down to numbers !

Nothing official announced, only rumors up to now. Lets hope patch 3.3.x comes soon including the option of transfer, even if it is paid transfer, it would be nice. I have 5 toons waiting to be transferd

Transfer would be with gamecards I assume. WoW China never required a credit card

Up to now it's RMB60.- and only some selcted realms.
Hope more will come.

Look into the signature from Muhan above your thread all guides are inside there. Most of us play on CN1 - Maduolan (玛多兰) Server. If you want people to join you u better write the chinese Server Name otherwise it doesnt work to only say its second server Alliance, the server list is diffrent for any player!

Most of us play with English / French / German Clients (like me) it works very good if you follow exactly the guide.
If you would be more specific what didnt work people here can help you out.
