ATM, I'm still in China and I used to play in both the taiwan and chinese server. Right now I wanted to get back into WoW but this time I really want to play in USA servers. However, the free trial registration seems to be blocked in china (tried with proxy and it worked). I guess this is because of the gold farmers.

I'm curious, if I buy the full USA cd keys, will I be able to connect without proxy/VPN or will I still be blocked? I know the latency will most likely be horrible but I'd like to know anyway.

Hi there . I am playing with my Europe account on German and USA servers. But I have the same prob like u trail version, or cd key can not be purchased without proxy. The ping is around400ms from Suzhou .

But you aren't playing with proxy right?

Nope the proxy gives me higher latency while playing
