Hi guys i've been rather busying with work and has stopped playing the game for half a month.
I just came back from Netease's website that beta test will ends on 14th Sep, 2009. Whether the game will be officially allowed to run is not known yet, but it seems like netease has increased their investment in going karaoke with the chinese govern. haha
anywat with this fxxking boring beta coming to its end, i think WLK will come soon, after it's official release in europe almost one year ago.

So lame, I do not want to wait as the last black out.

There is some informations concerning how long we will wait?

Just saw the news on warcraftchina's website, I also hope there won't be any blackout again, that would really sucks... :'(

Well.. not sure about WotLK, it's probably just more a case of having the content currently available sanctioned. However, the free-game time which we have had while they have 'tested their hardware' and made sure all the 'item-boxing' hasn't introduced any major bugs (and - though unmentioned - because they weren't legally able to charge) will end on the 14th - yet they seem to be claiming that it was a gift to us for having had so much downtime and for our patience during their transition period.

If it is approved before (I assume) the 14th, then all currently active accounts will still have free game time until the 14th, and account registration will be activated - but it won't be free to play for new accounts.

If it's not approved on that date? I dare not imagine Blackout No.2 - but for a potentially very long time? I dunno.. somehow I doubt that it would not be approved. I think they have made their point by causing so much hassle about the content to deter other companies, and doubt they want to face the unrest that stopping WoW would cause.

Yesterday my wife noticed that some vendors (selling the BG stuff, the S2 weapons & armore) in Stormwind werent there anymore, I will check this evening if they are there or not.

This could be a some sort of sign

maybe cause WOTFLK will be released next month

maybe only cause the end of Beta is near


maybe the vendors just quit their job, cause they had insider info, that cwow will never come to China again

maybe if it blacks out i can rebind all of the accounts.

all i can do is hope!

Lack of communication IMO from Netease. We even do not know if there will be a black out during the transfer between the Beta version and the official one.

Yesterday I played until 00:15 and then the power went off in our building I went to bed, since I didnt know how long we would be without electricity.
At the moment I cant log in the game until this evening, since I am at work, but I checked the realm status on http://www.warcraftchina.com/services/realm-status/ and they seem all running.

Has beta finished or what is going on? Anyone got some news?

It's maintenance day then we will see around 1pm what's going on.

I just checked the realm status again and all are green (running).
I can't check the game until I get home, but I am assuming that beta is still running.

If I get home and servers are down, I will need some beer and a good movie.
