I'm interested in the feasibility of it really. Currently I have a great schedule that lets me raid with my North America friends, but I have enough time to fool around with cn or tw in my spare time. It's just a sever list file right? I'd hate to screw up my install since I have no cds with me.

Side note: I'd love a raiding guild in wow cn/tw. I was a pretty hardcore raider before I moved overseas.

USA-NA, TW, CN, EU all have their own servers, database and branch corporations.

To play in China you need a Chinese client (although it can be modded to use English) you need a Chinese account. I got both of these things by going to a Chinese internet cafe with a friend and paying for "game time" (just a code) and copying the WoW folder onto my portable USB device. It's not that hard but its not that easy either.

Thanks. It's possible to have both clients on my pc then on seperate harddrives? I'm just worried about CN and NA clashing on stuff

Yeah, you can have both client on one computer/harddisk.

If you want Hard-Core guilds..hmmm maybe come to 烈焰峰 horde and join The New (they have 5 sunwell raids) but if you don't speak chinese it won't be the same as if you were in NA, that's the only problem we have here in china.

I still managed to clean Sunwell Plateau with my alliance priest, so don't worry, you'll find a guild anyway.

I'm pretty uhh, dedicated to raiding lol. Since Molten Core, in top 10-30 kills for the most part, just not sure if anything really solid chinese guilds are even left with lots going to TW :/

There is Horde guild called Awakening on Warsong CN2, Raiding Sunwell and stuff. Pretty nice people there and a bit of foreigners

found them, but I am unsure if they're still even on CN I see a lot of Taiwan mentions. My Taiwan guildie on US servers also mentioned he heard they killed Algalon August 22, so I'm guessing another Taiwan reroll guild :/

Server transfer will take ages just reroll on Maduolan Cow Eaters rocks at the moment. If more people transfer i bet we can claim to be the biggest Foreign guild ; )

im in hardcore raiding guild. They have a raid organized every evening 6:30-10:00. They have two main 25 man teams so we can make it into two raids at a time. At the moment we are raiding BT, SW, HS. There are some foreigners in the guild ~5 or smthn.

I'm interested Nikitoss, what is the server name? Just tried 艾萨拉, warsong at 7pm and no one was online :O (Devil Heaven) as well as some random I whispered told me the guild name was no love. The new said they'd take me, but there is a serious lack of English with them. Also, their main raid group all went to taiwan

A better question overall is how do I buy game time from mainland china for TW? I assume I'll need to use a proxy for my IP as well.

the guild is on Warsong. Dunno the Chinese chars for that, but its the only two character word on the CN2 list. Whisper unstoppable when you're on or alternatively just /join english.

List two shows multiple with 2 characters, at least for me! Just going to everyone I see with 2 and /joining English.

hmmm 500 ping is pretty bad. Try looking for a good guild on CN1. I think guild that Bolomas and the others are playing in is pretty hardcore too and its on CN1 so it should be pretty good for ya there.
