resto or feral?
-ive got gear for both of the specs
-im not really into healing , prefer dps
-pvp.... feral is pve right?

answer carefully because this will change the future of my druid!

i suggest u go feral as it is good both pve and pvp wise. Besides if u can pull off good pve feral gear u can earn some quick gold in Zul'Farakk. I know from personal experience that bears are the best at running it. (costs 30-40G per per person so 4 people will earn you 120gold per run:O and one run takes u only 5-10 minutes). Boomkins are annoying (saying it as a mage ) and as u dun like being a healer i think feral will be a good choice for ya.

best is you go watch the US forum of wow and browse the druid forum. You can have a good idea of the shape of the different specs. As far as feral goes, It's a good tanking class, I've heard it's a strong damage dealer at 80, but as far as pvp goes... well, better spend your points for resto spec. resto druid is the best pvp healer out there.

haha I have no uidea Uru, my poor lil drood is suck around level 50, i'm gonna finish it though as I love variety.....Pally Tank, Warrior Tank....druid Tank^^


seriously though I've found the most rewarding classes to be healing or tanking, it just makes the game more interesting..but thats just me and its all personal preference..

...and yeah Boomkin is awesome DPS, pretty much always a mage beater, but it really pisses the tank off with your aggro and the mages off with their channeled AOE and ur knockback..but I'm sure thats half the fun...if only I could figure a Boomkin/vigilance macro^^

Yeah druid is really a fun class to play, and prowl for world pvp? it's priceless.
With the new forms coming I think I'm gonna take my druid out of vacation for sure.
I've always been a little pissed by this low polygone bear, and tauren cat form was just pretty damn farkin ugly with their wyvern face and their ears moving permanently in an unsyncronised manner. Really was a joke to not fix this for so long. But the new forms are just wow.

yes the rear view of the bear form is too provocative for many Chinese censors. The will be made to wear large bear nappys is the upcoming patch, good news is the nappy/diaper doubles as fear protection.

Now with the dual talent function you can now choose both Feral and Resto! Although Balance and Resto combo can share the same gears, which means less work getting 2 sets of gears.

Alright, my opinion, resto druids can heal quite well, specially AoE healing for bosses like gruul who can damage u all in one go or akil'zon, however feral druids are the only tanks who can reach the armour cap. Feral druids can NEVER dps, simply because of the fact that even with the BEST gear, your dps will not beat that of a mediocre geared rogue, NOT possible. Boomkins have quite a good dps, so i'd suggest dual speccing a boomkin, feral spec, as dps mage equip is better at healing than healing equip is at dps. Hope i didn't get you confused on that last sentence, think it through and you'll see what I meant. that's all i gotta say, byebye

I dunno if feral fair well in PVP at lv 70, I see very few of them. But I've heard they are very strong at lv 80 (once you get the finisher move who grants you +60%ap!!). The rotation is complex though.
