Not sure if anyone is on that server but if u dont mind playing Alliance i suggest u to come over to maduolan on shanghai Nr1
and join Cow Eaters. We are rapidly growing at the moment with foreigners coming over and even rerolling new chars.

We have normaly 8 to 10 people online in the evening and are also raiding with other chinese guilds.

Hi mate. Don't worry about that. There are goo addons like quest helper or tour guide and the last guys which came over hit 70 within 1-2 weeks and have all epics incl. Some t6 gear. The guys from our guild are very helpfully and will pull you through some instances or help with quests.

Just give it a try I can promisse you don't regret it

There is a thread here about the Addons everyone use.
Most of us use curse.com and install the latest version from the addon you like (for Quest helper it works), on some addons like Xpearl u have to use a version suitable for 3.1 patches!

you guys really use a lot of add ons. I am a user without addons. So I want to raise the questions whether they are really that good. Course they are helpful, but... . I just use thottbot.com for the database for quests and others

In the end you just have to have the right feeling.


But, as a newbie for add ons I will learn.

Hi Herrmann,

Most Addons are to create and manage individual interfaces.

There are some Addons, which u should use later in raids (Omen, DBM, Grid,...), some others are just useful little helpers (not necesary, but makes the life easier).

As a online database I can recommend wowhead.com (5 languages, many english comments and good connect in China) or buffed.de (many german comments, a bit slowly to open the page from china)
