My apologies for starting a new thread about the Taiwan server situation. However, there's been few updates on the other threads (10 days old+).

I and several other foreigners (at least 4) are looking to transfer from CN2. I forget the server that we were on. I'm currently on my laptop with no way to check. Another American guy and I have already started characters on the Taiwan servers on the NEW PvP server.

We want to join a raiding guild with a large group of foreigners. I've read through all the threads and there seemed to be three servers that foreigners were advertising, either Stormscale [All Gear No Skill], 米奈希爾 or 狂心. However, these three servers are currently locked, and there seems to be no final word on the forums except that All Gear No Skill has been updated more often. Despite the updates, the status on the page never changes from NOT Locked, which it is most certainly LOCKED.

My questions are as follows:

1. Will the servers unlock?

2. If not, will there be a final movement of foreigners to an unlocked/new/low-pop server so that everyone can join?

3. If what these threads say are true, will we all really try our best to consolidate onto one server? As of now, it seems that many people are still locked out of the servers on which you guys are playing.

I'm going to play around on this alt on the new PvP server, but I'll check daily to see if any of the servers unlock. I'll give it until the end of my three month subscription then just give up.

Stormscale is a high pop server (long queues at night) so I dont think they will let many more people join in the future, unless many people transfer because of the queues

Movement to an unlocked server depends on how many people are wanting to join us. With all the 80s and alts, it really isnt that feasible to transfer 50+ chars, unless it was free

We already consolidated onto stormscale but didnt think about future players wanting to join us, sorry about that. Consolidatin on ANY server was the priority as nothing was getting done

Why dont you guys role on a new server and level together for now?

That's what we are doing, but we hope to get on with you guys some day, either by character transfer or even just a server unlock.

I've played WoW for a long time and it's becoming a chore to level new characters all the time. I'm sure you all feel the same way. Nevertheless, WotLK is worth re-rolling for now.

If any account becomes available on your server that we could take over, please keep us informed on the boards or pm/email me. I'd consider purchasing an account from taobao but I don't want to get scammed.

Three at the moment. And one will be back in a month. He went to Canada for a visit.

There used to be six of us, but we all gave up on WoW Cn after a while because end game got really boring without a guild and just doing rep-farming/rolling new toons.

If I can get the others to come back there would be six altogether, but we are now a four man army lol.

Well, now that 25 and 10 mans are going to be the same items, it makes 10 main raiding viable! Me and a friend are looking to see if we can find a foreigner raiding guild.
