I read the following article, but as long as Chinese WOTLK is not on my screen, I will not believe it. But even when it will come, cataclysm will be out very soon in the rest of the world, and maybe by then I will have time to play again. Mostlikely on TW server...

From some pictures of this Chinajoy thing, it seems that all Scourge skulls have put on clothes, and the fat abonimations have a new look, which is combined with closed belly and less bones. Deathknight is still deathknight, but some of its skills have new names, Corpse Explosion-->Unholy Explosion, etc.

Me and my other foreign friends here in Hangzhou are really anticipating the release of WOTLK! Was wondering how should we go about the patches once WOTLK has been released..?

I just heard it's a 3GB patch that should be available for download before the game opens up. Not sure exactly what it will do to an English client, but I'd bet money it'll take some tinkering.

I just hope someone will be kind enough to post here some helpful instructions as well as links for the patch.

There are currently 5 of us (foreigners) in Shadow Council Realm (CN1). We're lucky that a lot of players can speak english in this realm. But it will be better if more foreigners will join this realm too!

I've heard they will release the game at the 3.2.2 version (jump from t6 to t9 woot -_-v ). Hopefully no need to have a modified client to log on their servers once it's live.

According to other chinese players, Wotlk will be released on August the 5th!

I just logged in and it said "breaking news, 24h maintenance on August 4th to apply expansion", I'm guessing you guys are seeing the same.

Cataclysm is due out in November, if that gets approved we have 3 months to see WotLK and poof, Cataclysm! Though, based on WotLK's approval process we can expect Cataclysm some time in... 2015? ¬_¬

Ok Servers will be online tonight 23.49pm but no news about the version we will have in china.

Anyhow i believe they will patch to the same version or an old version i dont believe there will be an evil patch. But we will see tonight or latest tomorrow morning.

Highly doubt it's expansion is applied. First, it's too soon. Second, it's only 2 groups undergoing maintanance, 1 and 3. So don't really expect anything. =)

Server are still under maintenance so far. Just tried to log in with my chinese client, no patch download at all but all server are offline!
Maintenance started 2.00am and will be 10 hours so i try around lunch time again.

So as far all the servers are down? Good point.

Seems Wotlk will be available at the end of the month, acccording to several chinese players.
I've got this weird sense of "deja-vu" lol.

My chinese colleague told me that when TBC was upgraded to 3.1.3, there was an announcement on what patches should be downloaded first. Then it took 3 days for the expansion to be applied on the servers.

WOTLK will most likely be released by the last week of August or early September(latest).

Can't wait it...China sucks

The size of the first CWLK patch is 7.4GB.
Version is 3.2.2.12484.

Special Chinese patch as we guessed. No such patch version has been implemented in Europe.

Equivalent might be:

Patch v3.2.2.10482
Patch v3.2.2.10505 (closest one)

I heard that the downloading of the patch will commence on the 17th (first part) and on the 24th (for the second part).

Any chance we can have a "workaround" for this patch soon?

Just wondering, who wrote the modified Patch-3.mpq and patch-en-3.mpq files for 3.1.3? Hope he can make another suitable for this "special" 3.2.2 patch. ^_^

If I remember good, Suzhou-Alex and Bolomas found the main manipulations and Masterfade help them to make everything good with the Skeleton.
