Im thinking running dailies(x5) would be more profitable then raiding and it seems much easier to have multiple accounts in CWOW. I dont know why but I had an image of all these multiboxed toons roaming the daily areas, which could be a real nightmare on a pvp server. It could also impact the economy if it gets out of hand. If the CWOW economy is f'ed up now then I'd hate to see what it becomes with all the daily quest gold at 80.
Multiboxing is very rare but it has been around for a very long time (even in EQ).
It's great for single user if they are PVPing or want to run dungeons themselves.
However, it's not so great for gold farming. Usually a gold farmer's rig is setup for 1 bot (sometimes 2) but on multiple servers grinding a certain area or doing AH activities.
Multiboxing involves single targeting, so it would be 5 toons attacking 1 mob for example. It's overkill. And to have multiple bots (not multiboxing, just multiple bots) in the same area, there would be a lot of competition and bot mistakes (ie, targeting something that's already being attacked.)
If you have the money, 5-boxing is awesome for PVPing, Arena, and farming dungeons yourself.. it takes some practice to do the dungeons though, and can't be automated in most cases. But gold farming is automated single bots not working together.
