I just started playing WOW in Chinese (although I can't read) and I have a Alliance Shaman in lvl 19. I'm pretty new to the game itself and ti's a bitch to do the quests. I'm on server 4 and looking for others that speak english that I can play with.

Is the CRAZY guild all Horde? Maybe I should create a new character. I need to find english speakers to play with. The quests are impossible to understand as I have not played before.

Also can you move characters to different servers (eg. server 4 to server 8?) in CWOW?

Yes, the guild named crazy is all on the horde side.

No, you can't move characters between servers/realms in cwow.

hey mate..yep we are all horde on Aodelanke server... so your best bet is to create a horde char...but you will have to delete your allaince char for that

best thing is to try and d/l english tbc...especially if your kind of new to the game... if thats not possible there are ways around it

i play on the chinese version and i cant read any of the crap lol
i had a mod which told me where to go when i clicked the quests, but ive also played chars on english servers before so i kind of remebered the quests

unfortunatly with tbc that mod dosent work anymore....so what ive been doing is following a step by step guide.... google "james horde guide"
the guide will give you a step by step guide on where to pick up quests what to do etc...so its just a guessing game..the guide tells you to go to a place and get a quest..( i just pick up all the quests the npc gives because i have no idea which quest is which in chinese) then i follow the guide and kill the animals it tells me then go hand in where and when the guide tells me
i leveled a hunter to 37 like this without much hassle.. even if you have an english client you should follow this guide, because will be the fastest way for you to hit 60


the other trick is to go to www.thottbot.com and click on zones then choose the zone you are in...in thottbot you can see the quests for that zone and the rewards you get...you then click your quest log and look at the quests...if your quests have a sword reward or something..just look at the quests in thottbot and see which one gives the same sword..then you know you have that quest
this is easy for outlands but for 1-60 im not so sure...

Thanks scampers for your detailed information. I managed to install the english version and get it working, so I'll be keeping my character. Wow does seem very complex the more I learn about it. Thanks so much again for the info!

Even if Crazy is a bit slow currently, iy beats being alone on alliance. If you do not read/write Hanzi you will be VERY bored on alliance side. It takes a relative small amount of time to restart and get to level 25 as long as you are sub 30. The lavels from 30 to 60 takes a long time so change now!
