I've just created a TW account but the latency is crazy.
Is this connnected to the latest patch? I've read som posts that there has been a loot of latency issues in US and so on.

As I'm new to playing in TW maybe there's some tips out there on how to set things up to get it to work better.

My only other suggestions would be the Registry Fix or to stop downloading pron

If you have a good connection from china you should have a ping between 200 to 800 which is normal. That's why most of us use a VPN like 27net or netpass which will improve it to 100 to 400 depending on daytime and overall traffic.

maybe the most popular among Mainlanders, but to get a normal latency you may have to pay 47rmb/month(called a VIP Account)

never tested this, but I heard a variety of comments on this one, some guys told me this is great, and the others just kept complaining its latency.

I'm using it now(I live now in Europe and play in TW), seems pretty ok, and IIRC I never heard someone complained about it.
Oh, BTW, you can purchase this one with your VISA

tried xunyou today - dropped from around 600 to 150-200.
