Finaly they updated their backbones and connection to US. Both ISPs now have ratio of 32:1 down from 64:1, (32 users per line, i.e. 32 mbps sold when 1 actual mbps avaialble), it's not yet as good as west ISPs (typical user/bandwith ratio is 24:1) but at least some inprovement.

It actually works and i can see difference in games. My ping to LA datacenter dropped from 210-240ms during day to 140-170ms during day and 80-90ms during night. Same as Modern Warfare 2 connection quality on Xbox 360 is much better.

Without using a VPN, I have the following connections. I am based in Kunming, Yunnan (Southwest China) using China Telecom:

My average connection to CN1 is around 150ms to 200ms
My average connection to CN2 is around 400ms to 500ms
My average connection to TW is around 500ms to 800ms
My average connection to EU is around 2000ms to 3000ms

So I will stick to CN1

Unfortunately not all of us live in a place with a great internet connection. So most ppl living in China will play on CN or TW servers.

Maybe you should try out one of our communities, either on CN or TW.
BTW. TW has the same content as the rest of the world.

I tried TW, but it has strange payment system, 1000+ queue during evenings (tried some PvP realm, don't know how name is translated and don't really remeber, but it was one of the realms launched with WoTLK). And OMG, my eyes were bleeding of all spam in trade and all that yells. Idk, maybe I can try one more time. I actually prefer underdog factions on PvP servers.

Like back on Гром I played on Ally side, when ratio between horde and Ally is like 7 hordies to 1 ally player.

If you look carefull it's between 3 guilds. There was 1 big guild that collapsed into 3 small. So I wanted to let them know that maybe it is good idea to trasfer to LA datacenter (Frostmourne for PvP or Khaz'Goroth for PvE players). But offcourse, it's you who can decide if they need to know that info or keep yelling "It's only TW and CN players here"

Anyway you can delete thread. And I suggest you to rename site to Foreign community on WoW CN/TW only and not just Foreign WoW community in China. So people trying to find other WoW players in same timezone to play on whatever server won't get flamed trying to find people who play on US/EU servers but in GMT+8 timezone.

So Lt.Saw, continue to open threads for some ppl who are living in China and playing on US servers. Do what you want. I will aswell

Try TW servers again. Check the TW section to know where the ppl on this forum are playing. And STOP opening useless threads.

I honestly could not care less about whether or not who downed whatever boss first and whether or not I participated or anything pertaining to Realm Firsts! I never raided seriously in Lich King and don't plan to in Cataclysm. See if I care that my Kingslayer date is after Cataclysm release.

Ok, can someone tell me TW realm that have massive disbalance toward the horde, either PvP or PvE. Because realms like this, with dead faction(almost dead) don't have much spammers and other non-sence. And as I said I like playing udnderdog faction.
