So I have hit 80 and I want to turn off a few addons. I start by using my addon control panel to turn them off after reloading UI they are still there. So I log off and uncheck them from the character I do not want them on, but upon returning to the game they are still there. Any sugguestions?

If you don't want them at all delete the Folder from the addons Folder Inside Ur Wow Directory.

And stich I do not want to remove the addons as other toons still use them. I.E. I will not use decursive on my warlock.

On a side note I found this on a website:

Exit the game -> go to the wow-directory -> WTF -> YOURACCOUNTNAME -> yourserver -> Character you want to change addons for.
In there is a text file called AddOns which specifies which addons loads for that char and not.

Should be a list looking like this:

Quartz: disabled
RatingBuster: enabled
Recount: disabled
SimpleRaidTargetIcons: enabled
etc.


Now write "disabled" after an addon you do not want for that char, but cant seem to turn off.
Save the document, launch the game, see if it helped.

When attempting this I noticed that all my folders in the account directory have a ________. I think I saw a post on here about that, will check when I get back from family stuff.

U have to turn on Chinese Language Support on Windows for asian Language. Theta all !!!
