Right now there is salt sortages do to fact most of all salt is going into make the radation pills. I live in shenzhen and no one selling salt, Not even walmart, small stores or 7 elvens.

Lucky I mostly use chicken bouillon for the cooking

Oh and btw the reasons for this rush is because of rumors (false rumors probably) that futur stocks of salt would be contamined and lot of ppl believed it so they rushed on the stocks. Imo it's silly, and even if it's true, then I'd be more concerned with anything looking like water, vegetables and meat.

I rather accept the fact that one day I'll have to pay for the excess of our lifestyle and take a good radiation in the ass, while hoping I might be able to actually cast some spells IRL one day or another (saw those movies right).

We already use chicken bouillon, but got have salt with it. Let have some steak with some chicken bouillon on it and have chick steak

Went to the market because I am actually out of salt. and now everyone is buying up all the soy sauce too.

Same here in Suzhou salt and soy sauce is limited to max 5pcs for each person all supermarkets are out of stock for both items. Don't get the point of it but just stocked 10 packs of salt and 10 bottles of soy sauce could earn a fortune of that down on the streets 

And what about fish? One good thing about that is that my MIL will finally stop pestering me to eat squid!

As for the salt, we haven't had any shortages of salt or soy sauce- but here in the outskirts of Chongqing people are really hicks (for lack of a better word). It's just a big fancy village.
