Although 20 ppl willing to gather on one server didnt post, I want to open a new thread to discuss the server/realm in Mainland China. Up to now we got 13 ppl willing to move.

The thread is also open to suggestions on a aimed "deadline" for migration.
Otherwise it is only a lot talking and no raiding

Reason: High Population Server, already foreigners there

I am a HORDE fan, I admit it, but there are a lot others with Horde 80s.

As the time to migrate I suggest the 01.04.2011 that we can start doing stuff altogether - maybe already a 25 HICC haha.

Of course all otheres afterwards and new guys and alts lvling are welcome.

Reason for the deadline is easy: I already moved around so much and in the end from promised...a lot of ppl.. only a few showed up and then one by one. In a lot cases the first ones already left when the other come to full 10 men strength. Was always a pity.

So guys, lets speed this up

Ok, I would join as long as we play on a well balanced server with high population and an active AH. Doesn't matter if we start from zero or transfer a lvl 80 from another realm.
I play almost 5 yrs on cn mainland servers and made my experience.
E.g. if someone want to convince me today to change to Maduolan, I would just laugh at him. This server was one of the best a few yrs ago...but it's over,it's dead... especially on horde side (1% population ?)
AND I don't understand why the Cow Eaters are still advertising for this poor area.

To be honest Hermann, I'm happy that you chose Bronzebeard as your target but I doubt the plan would actually work. Last time 'everybody' was all worked up about it... but otherwise others are not willing to transfer and play together unless it's their realm we're talking of. Oh and Bronzebeard isn't balanced population wise: we are outnumbered by the Alliance, but compensate for it because about 50% of horde population are hardcore Wrathful Gladiators.

Thats what i thought. people only looking for a balanced server or a balance cheat patch server.If u cannot survive in a overwhelmed server ur not a good player!!!! Yea mate ur right Maduolan is not the best server anymore but if i see the whining of well balanced servers it makes me sick .........why not apply a cheat so it doesnt matter what server u play ... or why not try to be better as others even its unbalanced ????? Just give a suggestion of a better server instead of complaining....


I am whilling to move a char to any other BALANCED SERVER or UNBALANCED SEREVR no matter if its horde or ally ....

Currently I play with Hermann @ CN3, out of trouble from "wannabe" GLs.

Best chances to get a foreign raid team together at the moment:

Even it's not balanced. Horde 33% : Alli 67%

It seems to me that people are already gathered in groups on realms based on their location, allegiance, and PVP/PVE preferences.

Horde PVP/PVE in Shanghai Area are on CN1/Bronzebeard/山丘之王 (some at CN1/Alterac Valley/澳得兰克)
Alliance PVE in Shanghai Area are on CN1/Maduolan/玛多栏
Alliance PVP/PVE in Beijing Area are on CN2/Kul'Tiras/库尔提拉斯

It's not really practical to organise only one place for everyone to play. Everybody has different requirements after all. Therefore, if you want to play with other foreigners, just join one of the above realms immediately and you're all good to go.

What I want to know is how many English-speaking regular members are on each of those servers. After all, If I am to change servers, I'd like to know that what I go to is at least as good as what I leave behind.

For my guild (Laowai Club) on Kul'Tiras, we usually have 10-15 online in the evenings and hold 10-man raids within the guild regularly along with 25-mans together with others. However, most of our guild members are English-speaking Chinese folks, so raid set up is quite likely to be in Chinese.

Alliance guild on CN5 布兰卡德

If your looking for a balanced server to join as Alliance this would be the best choice, it's like 1.0-1.01

In the guild theres 4 foreigners and around 3 Chinese that have a decent comprehension of English.
Guild name God is AFK .

Right now we enjoy PVP but if enough people come i'm sure most would be willing to raid as well.

CN5 布兰卡德 with a new guild "God is AFK" ... what a name haha

Aim is clearly to bring a bigger group then 20 together that we can do 25 raids together. Build a community
High Population is important cause otherwise finding groups for quests and raids are difficult
and last but not least the balanced server... difficult, but with WG always in one hand makes it difficult to run the raid there
I am currently active on CN3Emeriss Server and i am also happy there, but willing to transfer for a new community

Also a "balanced" server with high pop, slightly fav for the HORDE

What's your source? the site shows 1.0-2.42 more than twice as many horde on 艾莫莉絲

We are still shattered and little are left & willing to really transfer mains.

Couple of questions-
1. if it's a high pop server can you transfer your character from a low pop server?

2. What characters are you lacking? If you've already got 10 healers then I really wouldn't want to transfer another one over...

3. Since it's the Horde side that you've got set up does anyone really have the time to show a low level toon the ropes (since I've never really played horde, my highest horde toon is only a lv 34 hunter but I'd probably want to level a druid or a priest)
***I almost forgot- I have a lv60 priest that I stopped playing after the guild left (I leveled 2 priest one for shadow and one for healing pre BC but since we no longer raided I stopped playing- Night elf) so she can move...

4. How long is everyone planning on staying in China to play? At the moment I'm already in an empty guild of 4 semi-playing characters and I don't want to get stuck in another one since I'll probably be here for another 10 years.

5. Can we mail stuff to characters on different servers now if they're on the same account? Not just relics but bags/ gold/ equipment?

OK so that was more than 'a couple' but if I'm going to start a new toon or transfer I'd like to know everything I should expect. Thanks in advanced!

1. Yes you can change server, it doesnt matter whats the population density.
2.In our case, God is AFK, we got atm something around 6-7 80's but we got like 2-3 foreigners upleveling right now !! including me. So any class would be more then welcome.
3. We are alliance so u might want get ur level 60 priest here , my paladin is 44 atm and i hope to be 80 in two or three weeks, we also got two more foreigners at around level 60 which are upleveling. The foreigners we have so far are pretty active, so u will always have someone to talk with; guild chat is really active.
4. Two of the players in the guild (foreigners) are teachers in here and are probably staying here for quite some time, im staying for more 2 years, and then im off to university but as i said most of the ppl in the guild are staying here for more 3 years at least i guess.
5.No we cant mail stuff through server, however u can just put w/e u want to take to our server in the characters that u are trasnfer. Remember that ur bank also comes with ur character !!
