Are we on extra special extended maintenance or did AVG manage to foul up every copy of WOW on my computer this morning?

Edit: Looks like it may be option one. I'm at least getting signs servers may be on their way back up. If anyone learns what happened, I'd be interested to know.

Login server is working but no realmlist yet. Could be a server update related to the faction changes. Or maybe they are starting to prepare for 4.x. Maybe it's the end of the World... of Warcraft. Nothing to do but wait and speculate.

edit: Servers are comming back online now.

Nope it actually went on earlier but due to the fact that it was down completely for a LONG period of time I think that had something to do with it. They must have counted ACTUAL time. And yes we did get the Black Onyxia Whelp in honor of the first raid encounter.

I don't know what happened but my WOW just went down and won't go back up...but my husband is in the other room playing on his Chinese client. I get "Unable to Connect"- we were on the same team and he hasn't run into any problem...so it can't be a down realm. The pets were sent a while ago- I got mine at 10pm- it's now 1:44 and I can't connect.

From what I gather any type of modified client is almost always functionally unstable.

anyone got an ETA when TW servers will be online again?

Hey, I don't think the servers are down because my girlfriend who is playing on the Chinese Client is having no problems. The problems are the English Clients that have updated to patch 4.1. The problem being that the Chinese servers have not updated from 4.06. After I did my update I couldn;t even start WOW because it kept crashing. If you updated to WOW 4.1 then you can't play until the Taiwan servers are updated or you can rollback to before the update.
My questions is: does anyone know when they will update the Taiwan servers to 4.1????
