For those who can't wait : Chinese client+Delocalizator

Ok for those who wants to play early you can use the chinese client paired with this addon http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info16865-Delocalizator_continued.html#info

I wasn't able to test it yet but it seems it's compatible with cataclysm . It's supposed to translate some part of the Russian interface into the english one. Pretty sure it works for the chinese client too.

If someone can confirm it worked would be nice.

Yeah that's why I say someone try and report. I checked the addon code and didn't find a place where it mentioned specificaly the russian client.

Bump, If anyone is online on the chinese servers with the chinese client please try the addon and report if it works. Seems like we gonna need this bad for now...

Has Bolomas discarded the English client yet?

Hey and welcome!

Unfortunately, we've been through this all day and still haven't found a fix. I suggest that everybody download the Chinese client for now, and patch it to latest version (4.1.0.14250). That is all we can do for now.

Ok i can confirm that items, gear, gear score and stats and some npcs will be translated into english! Better then running without knowing stats!! But Quests are still in chinese i will try questhelper later if it still exists ...

Hi there,

I am trying to download the chinese client by this link:
https://www.battlenet.com.cn/account/management/download/

And get an: InstallWoW.exe (1,6Mo)

After launching the .exe it ask where to install the game, then it create a folder called: World of Warcraft Installer

It install things for about 20 mins in this folder using a downloader called: v1.4.0.382

When all is done in that "World of Warcraft Installer" I can find the: Installer. Normaly it launch itself while the installation of the instaler is done.

But that one stuck on: Instal... I clic on install and the installer does nothing... By pressing the first button means INSTAL normaly... Any idea ?

funny, when i tried it, it went to the 1.4xxx DLer, then went to Lich King DL.

Mals went from 1.4xxx to a 3.3.5-4.1x DLer (hers didnt ask which folder to place either). Lucky she has 40GB free on her C drive... i have 3gb...

EDIT: so aparently it auto sends to your C drive... found it in mine when i looked in the same place as Mals, if i could read chinese it might tell me how to change it. Guess i am waiting to copy Mals files...

into ur wow/interface/addons folder ,
then activate it in the charachter screen on the bottom right button, dont forget to mark use old addons if its in red color.
