hey guys I've been on the WoW Taiwan servers for about a month now. Its been a very lonely month on WoW. The server I'm on right now just seems.... well boring and bland. I'm on 夜空之歌 PvP server at the moment and the reason I chose this server was because at first I was suppose to play with my brother but later on he moved back to the US for a new job.

I've managed to join a guild that has a few Taiwanese people that speaks a few english. Things seem to be going well but after awhile they seem uninterested in chatting and rather they just go and do their own things and raids.

So right now I'm kind of desperate to seek out other english speaking players. Did you guys all manage to move to a certain server and make a guild? I'll consider myself new to WoW but not new in MMORPG's in general. Currently have a 37 Undead mage.

I don't mind re-rolling a new character and I do kind of prefer Horde over Alliance. Also a question... I heard that people are able to move their US WoW accounts to Taiwan servers. Then would it be possible to move my Taiwan account to the US servers when I move back to the US?

It can get pretty lonely on my server to sometimes. However, there are a few english speaking foreigners I do ply with from time to time when they do log on.

There is about 5-6 of us that play alot, and another 5-6 that lg on randomly.

btw I am on the horde pvp realm of: 山丘之王 which is on the server lis 1 Shanghai area.

You are more then welcome to play with us if you want to roll a new toon.

I could hook you up with some gold and some bags as well (that goes for anyone that wants to join our server).

hello same problem here, I've reached 23 and it is so difficult to play alone.. lol
Unfortunatly I cannot event write you the realm I'm in cauz I cannot copy and paste hahaa
I've choosen the PVP realm where there were the most people thinking there would be some englishspeaker but nothing ( a three character one with the last character having a little tail )
If you guys decide to go on the same server, I may consider moving:)
I'd like to play hord cauz I have too many character from alliance, and pvp cauz it's more trilling.

hiya ptimo. Just an update of myself. I managed to find 2 very fluent English players on 夜空之歌 and they can also speak chinese very fluently. They are both level 70 and are willing to help out. I joined a Taiwanese guild called "Monster" and they have a couple of english speaking players.

Their english isn't as fluent as the two mentioned upbove but good enough to carry a good conversation and most of the guild members don't mind english being spoken in guild channel at all. Some appreciate being able to practice their english as Jim says.

I've met Rick (guild leader), Jim (mage), Julian (Shaman), and am still trying to get to know everyone. They mostly consist of lvl 70 players that do raids but there are a few low levels and seeking help shouldn't be a problem. 230 something members in the guild.

Theres also another guild that has 3000+ something players.. not sure whats the name but its a very long chinese name guild that has a couple of people from Hong Kong that speaks some english aswell (one of the fluent english chinese players (Miz is his name) I know is from that guild and he was the one that suggested me to try "Monster" guild because he heard one of the officer's buddies is Aussie and has some players that can speak english and having 3000+ in his current guild can be a little hectic trying to get to know everyone.

I'm glad I didn't rejoin my previous guild and got a PM from the Guild leader from that 3000+ guild in chinese asking them if I wanted to join them. I replied back in english saying sorry I dont' speak chinese. He said wait and got Miz to talk with me and thats how I got into Monster.

I'm currently in talks with another english player from a "Foreigner Taiwan forum" to see if he would like to come to 夜空之歌. Let me know if you would like to come on over and I can get you a guild invite

guild statistic shows there are indeed some low level players.

what type of help are you looking for exactly? I've only needed help for lower level instances for gear and hard quests and if I happen to get camped by a alliance ganker they wouldn't mind coming over to take care of the problem lol.

What realm are you guys in for the taiwan server. I am in the realm called "blood something" PVP, is four letter. I couldn't type chinese. I have one lvl 70 warrior and 60 paladin.

Swede has come over and he might be able to get some RL friends to join us. If we can get ptimo and BT to come over then there would be 6 very fluent english speaking players total.

I have noticed in some posts people pose the question, "can I move my character between realms?" -- the answer is yes, but not with complete freedom. There is also a cost involved.

* You can move between your realmlist server. This means any realm between 1/4, for example, can move realm to realm - but can not move to realmlist server 3.
* The cost for each character move is 2 game cards and it is done through the The9 website, similar to reloading your account.
* Your character moves with all equipment, keys, skills, etc.
* You can obviously not change anything like race, so if your friend is alliance on another server and you're horde, too bad..fight against them instead of with them.

If people are actually interested in doing this I'll make up some kind of tutorial on how to do it, but really, if you find a chinese friend or someone you can communicate w/ at a Wang Ba I'm sure they can walk you through the interface on The9's website to accomplish it.

so far things have been going nicely with BT and Swede. Was able to get them an invite to the guild today. I do apologize for not being able to log on as much these pass two weeks.

If you don't catch me on you can talk with Bthorde (BT) or Nezzar (Swede). They are both leveling hunter to 70. I'm taking mage first or maybe druid.

hello Monologue, I'm glad you have joined our server. My ingame name there is Sorsha. We currently have 4 english speaking players including me at our server and are looking for more. Our current guild is full of lvl 70's that does raids but their english is decent but they are very friendly and some can carry a conversation in english.

I'm defiantly looking into raiding some day and doing all the end game stuff when I do get the time to play as this month I have been rather busy. I'm usually online every day when I have the time. Just an FYI that out of us four english players I'm considered the newest player to WoW as the other 3 have had been playing previously on another server.

Nezzar and Bthorde has been raiding pre-BC days and some have leveled to 70 and raided post BC at another server. Ptimo is new to the horde side but not new to the game as he played Alliance before moving here. I'm learning the game as I progress though and I'm kind of considered a re-roll whore lol. Long story short my highest I got my mage was lvl 30 and then I rerolled her twice etc and have done this to all my characters. Don't worry about that though I've finally decided on the race and class that I wanted to play.

I assume your an ABT (American Born Taiwanese)? Then you should know a little chinese right? I'm ABT myself.

What parts of Cali are you at? I used to live in LA before moving to Taiwan. Bthorde is also from California. We'll be more than happy to have you join our guild. You will probably reach 70 than any of us and probably can join them for raiding.
