So now,
I'm in Tianjin near Beijing for my study.
I'm a french wow player with an account in France. So i've already bought cataclysm and it's already on my french bnet account. I want to use it to play in china. Is it possible ?

Should i create an account first, and then transfer my game ?
I've no chinese ID to creat my account how could i do ?
I've a chinese blue card is it good to pay my account ?

Hello pleXi and welcome on the forum.

In china expension are free, so you only recharge your account and you are all set. But to play on the chinese servers you'll need to create a new chinese battlnet account, some links here https://wow-in-chinese.forum2jeux.com/general-f1/account-management-china-mainland-taiwan-t1492.htm

For the ID you gotta ask one of your chinese friends to let you use his. For legal reasons we don't provide IDs on the forum.

As for recharging the game you can find gamecards in most newpaper shops and convenient stores. Just ask for 魔兽世界卡(moushoushijie ka), they cost 30RMB. You can also buy on taobao if you are familiar with it. Not sure they accept blue cards tho.

EDIT: As for the client I suppose you already have a cataclysm one, so follow the sticky guide in the technical forum, you'll have to use a custom launcher to play on the mainland realms.

Of course you don't provide it, it's safest.

Moreover, I'd like to try my ping on chinese server but i can't create a test account ( id problem ofc ). any kind of ip i can ping to try ?

Thx for all your help, i've created my account and it work.
But i've a new problem :/

When i'm connect on my account ( practice account ), i create a new char and i can't go in game without being disco. i've no addon and the lowest video setting. i don't know why.
i don't think it's lag because it loading very fast ( 7 secondes ).
i ping taobao and ive 200ms.

what else ?

edit : maybe trial account can't connect during the night ? i will try tomorrow with a new fresh game

pretty sure trial account no connect problem during the night..

you'd better make sure your client 100% full downloaded

There is no error, my client is fully downloaded ( twice ).
My loading barre is loading slowly during 3seconde and jump until near the end and after that i'm disconnected. I can take you a screen maybe it's not "disconnect"
Where can i find a image hoster ? imageshake is blocked

Ok now i can't load char screen i'm direcly disco :/

ive flush my dns. reboot my connection. try to check uncheck network setting in the luncher. strat as admin, i'm going to put an ethernet cable direcly.

same probleme with ethernet. sometime i'm disco when i try to creat a char or to load some char screen.
I'm out of idea. maybe delete .mpq with char model and redownload it ?

Which means you are using the chinese client. Since you were talking about using the french client I m a bit puzzled when trying to figure what you did.

If you wish to play in french on the chinese realms follow this step by step https://wow-in-chinese.forum2jeux.com/t2226-cataclysm-42214769-fix-latest-update#20720 and no chinese client is needed to make it work.

i don't play with french client. i try to play with chinese client.
i downloaded the all chinese client ( near 14go ) And it won't work ( my error are listed before )

Well if you are using the chinese client then I have no idea. Normally you use the streaming installer, when the play button is highlighted you click it and it works. I don't think your client is fully downloaded, caus it's around 19-20gb normally.

Maybe let it stream more using the launcher.

Actually my folder is near 25Go.
i don't know too :'(. it's wierd because when i used the french client on french server it work ( with 1400ms ) but now i don't have the french client.

edit : i'm downloading the all chinese client in a new clean directory.

If I were you I'd go dl the french client now. You really need a very good level of chinese to play with the chinese client, trust me it's hard enough to have 99% of the realm talking in chinese.

i read on forum it could be becoz of that particular character are stuck somehow.

Anyways 1 thing u can try is to logon using a different character and if you have only one character in your account, try creating a new one and logon with that.

Others thing it's of coz try to download the french client and patch it up using our guide.

i've download the french client since i can click on play. I patch it and it works. But i ve to fully download the client or ive near 1400ms. And i don't know why but i had again 8go to download. Maybe stream ingame broke something.

So, it works but i can't play right now. I will baught a card to join the english channel. i hope i see you tomorrow.
