Hello everyone.
After follow sticky and useing encnlanuch,I can login game and play,but when I change aother new race character in my account. It start a long long progress bar again, saids"you first use this race ,please wait ......"
and meanwhile when I use the character into a instance or a new area, it must begin another progress bar and saids "waiting for patching etc."
My problem is, I had already patch the client to "full state"(not avalible),why it still kept patching in game ?
Plz help me , thanks in advance.

You may have patched the un-modified client to the newest version and fully patched it as well, BUT when you made the changes to play on Chinese Servers, the client needs to download additional data. This is what your game is downloading right now. In fact, if you check the small tab where ping and FPS are shown, you will see an additional number, which indicates how much game data has been installed so far.

What's the size of your wow folder ? is it 7-9GB or 17.9GB?

It's possible you downloaded it as a trial client which is much smaller than the full client. In the end it should still download the full client but that could explain the long loading time for what you are doing.

check the file wow/WTF/config.wtf and check the line

SET accounttype "CT", if it has "TR" change it to "CT".

I just checked my client, it's 20.8GB and the wtf/config.twf is SET accounttype "CT"

Know I prepare to login wow to check the small tab where ping and FPS are shown, to see is there an additional number.

OMG~ it shows 68% download!!! thanks again, and I've to downloading a long time

same problem happened on me
the client has to 100% downloaded ,or whenever loading the map ,you have to wait long long time

This seems to be happening to a lot of people recently, me included.

Even the Chinese players seem to be having troubles.

You see it in PUGs sometimes what the character says updating for a long time and is greyed out in the party list.

The thing is when you are in game the client only download the parts needed. So you have to keep downloading with the launcher when you are not playing if you want to solve this issue.

I had met the same problem with you .so after download the US client ,I log into the US server first before i enter the CNserver.It works,i dont need to waiting for the process bar such a long time. And finally ,there happens the same problem again when i go to Northrend...../cry,but it's well in Azeroth

Once again, that's the whole thing about the streaming installer. Of course it'll download places like Orgrimmar, or even the whole of Azeroth because that's the very base of the game. Like most of you said, if you travel to an isolated place, such as Northrend, it'll take far more loading time between screens.

Why? Because the streaming installer does exactly that. It downloads the most important parts of the game first, allowing you to play earlier. However, while you play it downloads data as well, hence the sometimes atrocious ping you get on your machines.

There's no workaround for this problem either since Blizzard changed all of their installers to streaming installers, to avoid people creating and playing on private servers. That's part of the reason why the transition from Wotlk to Cataclysm was so hard for us to figure out ; we were in our way, playing on our own 'private servers'.

If you want speed, that's what you get.

Turn on the launcher and dont play wow let the DL finish over night or so
