Sorry I haven't been on as much as I planed, new job eats trough all my time for freedom.

I had some problems with WOW so i reinstalled using the 100% translated client link....nothing difficult. seemed to go easy. but when I tried to log in it said a patch was required and after much mmuch tinkering and hoping I gave up and thought reinstalling agian would work.

The 2nd time I did the same reinstall but added the data file that i saw people talking about around the 15th and 16th or Nov. I thought for sure that was the missing thing that cause the 1st time to fail. However even after the 2nd time with new the data download I still get the message after loging in that a patch is required.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1st use the launcher and let it install the patch. Then you follow the guide, use the data files from the guide not from any other threads. If you don't use the US client you have to edit enCN.ini as explained on step 4.

I used the En us before...i am trying the enGB for now just cause it seems less to be more reliable. I will follow the guide again. I am letting the streaming client update everything as we speak.

I will respond with the result of this installtion in a day or two.

dont forget to change the enCN.ini if you use the enGB one.

first.. update fully your american clients.
second..copy the patch into your wow folder.(remember to update the patch and fix a file named realmlist)
third... well done.
