Hi guys
I just download a new wow and follow the "Cataclysm 4.2.2.14769 fix (latest update)".
Also, I update the wow.exe from "4.3 launcher" and everything from "
China 4.3 WOW.exe download link"

However, after I click "login", it's crushed with error.

I'm sure i have change the "realmlist.wtf" with "set realmlist cn.logon.warcraftchina.com" and "set portal cn".
and replace the "Battle.net.dll" and "wow.exe" and rename the "Launcher.exe" into "launcher.exe.bak"

Did I miss anything?

Also, there is english "breaking news" on the left while login. is that correct or it should be some chinese "breaking news"?

For me, I did the following and it worked.

1. I updated the client to 4.3 using the launcher
2. Updated the realmlist.wtf
3. Replaced wow.exe with the Chinese version
4. Renamed Launcher.exe to Launcher.exe.bak
5. Copied the encnlaunch files into the WOW folder.

I didn't replace the battle.net.dll file at all.

I think it must be something wrong in "battle.net.dll" because after i change it into the original one, it's not crushed but just keep connecting.
I download "battle.net.dll" from "Cataclysm 4.2.2.14769 fix (latest update)".

There is a new problem...
I replace the battle.net.dll into the orginal one. but i just keep connection and later it says "disconnected blablabla"...

"You have been disconnected from sever..."
Also , is that correct that there is a english "breaking news" on the left while not a chinese "breaking news" ?

Do you get to the character selection screen?

There should be English news on the left.

think i got the same problem with you buddy,
back then in 4.2 i think the news is english.

can't even get in to the character selection black, when u click login there will be error message that you used to get when u login for the second time after u dc without restarting the wow

Hey Jason,

My guess is that one or more of the files wasn't updated properly. Try recopying the Chinese wow.exe and the new encnlaunch files into the WOW folder. Hopefully that should be enough to get it working.

Also, make sure you're using the 1.0.0.26135 version of battle.net.dll that came with patch 4.3.

jason im getting the same error as you. tried the .dll., tried dl and reinstalling the two 4.3 files from forum...still nada

I know that all of you want to play very badly, but please keep it to the 4.3 Launcher thread. I know that you want this to be done as fast possible, but it's a pain for new users because of the number of threads that are all about the same thing.

that's weird i made a 2nd post 5 minutes after that 1, but that 1 didn't come up.

Anyway, after i copy the battlenet.dll from a working 4.3 chinese client everything went well. I think its because my wow isn't installed in the registry, so some file wasn't updated properly

Yeah guys the old guide had this battle.net.dll file to allow ppl with a foreign 4.3 client to play on 4.2 servers. So now it won't work anymore if you used it, so I hope you kept a copy of the file before replacing it.

If you can t get it back tell me and I ll upload mine.
