vanilla. 5 bars, all bindable... with warrior stances your main bar changes abilities so it acts like 7 bars.

Need a better mouse to make my bindings work better.

If you need advice well I'll give you some.

Main rule is you need to look at what is in front of you in this game, a bit like when you drive a car. But each time you wanna check your speed, the autoradio, the fuel lv etc etc you are not watching in front of you.

So your UI problem is that you chose a cheap car display instead of an expensive supersonic jet hud (head up display).

Don't be afraid to put those health bars,cast bars, rotations bars near your toon or above him in the sides.

But most of all fix your chat window. When I saw this small window I just wondered if you were playing alone.

And having a window for chat with ppl exclusively and another window for loot rolls and other game messages helps a lot keeping up with conversations.

I can give you lots of tips for the perfect UI for PVP. Most important factors are:

• Simplicity
  
• Visibility
  
• Reflex
  
• Quick Information on Opponents
  

About your UI, I feel as if most of the buttons are too small. Assuming that you click in PVE, I don't think it'll help. Also, why do you put all those buttons under the chat window ?

I guess it makes sense if you describe it that way! I've never played DPS before, so maybe your UI is for focusing only on the pew-pew. Btw, get Deadly Boss Mods! Very useful for PVE.

Unfortunately, not in-game. I used to play in windowed mode, so I could switch easier. But sometimes I'd click by mistake on the "close" x button of Windows, leaving 9 other people to die (I was a tank ).

I was just looking at your UI looks very nice,

I assume your more pve then pvp right?

The addon you use Power Aura's this might be something i could use as well but been looking at the information and it seems its quite the agony to set it up.
Do you have to put in every buff / debuff manually?

I'll post you a pic of my UI (also BM) later today or tmr not sure if i have time today haha.

recently changed UI i use, also the key is simplicity.




for now really lack raid frames that i can efficiently use, i like GRID+Clique combo really much, but it's kind of difficult for me to set, Pitbull frames also very good, but can't set it to be neat, small and informative, anyway i dont do much raiding. also my keybinds as u can see kind of not complete (greater heal no keybind, lol i know), still taking 7 steps "you do not click on that pretty icon" course dont feel need of macros as a disc priest, dont know maybe i am wrong. overall i feel kind of satisfied with my UI now

Check the Shaman's UI in this video. Looks awesome, sleek, and it doesn't use much of the screen either!

didn't try X perl yet. i just hate that u only can set raid frames when u r in one, but when i am in raid i just dont have time for that. anyway, i guess i am too lazy for that

its also functional for showing me aspects (hawk, Fox, Cheetah and so on) and health 40% a red light warning

Food buff and flask not applied in raid

I did Pitbull its just more pretty but pain very pain to learn

i try a little more later,,, now i need test if its all working but so far im ok

only trouble now in Pitbull i cant see who is which class

Nice work while looking at it i am thinking of making myself a new UI. Use the same layout since years. You should try vodoo instead of pitbull once, i think is nicer and more clean for class preview+ if u have a healer class it helps a lot.

No addon, but there is a program that allows you to film your gameplay. It's Fraps. You need a good computer to film while you play though. Also, what's the size of your screen?

add a nice hurricane wind sound. And rotate fast like a Turbine with 3 diffeent colors makes a nice effect

I added BindPad as addon to extend Buttons and Macros.

Flask Buff Auras show now just for 20 Seconds then getting smaller and show up more discreet, before it was to much i feel now its just working quite in the background.

Nope. There is one for quests though, it's called Localizer if my memory serves correctly. Otherwise, google translate

In a pure eyecandy standpoint it's good but,

I'd say any UI without 2 chat box, one on left for real talk and on on the right for systems, rolls and stuff isn't very practical. Also this chat box is so small there's no way you can keep up with what is happening.

Also I'd be curious to see how your ui does in raid to judge the practical aspect ; cast bars, focus, target of target, raid members status, because sometimes even hunters need to look for someone's debuff and react accordingly.

I will think about the second chat box, the idea is good
one box just for roll i like that.
maybe i could do the box so.. Invisible and juts pop up when roll and epic loot happen

now the chatbox i have has 3 Category's one world chat the other raid and one for personal wisper

depending on situation i open this one.


i made some small changes again

the healthbar and raid bars are on 80% opacity that match better and let me see more.

then Power aura for some shiny at my health bar (depending on my health the animation change)

And a empty bar on the right for Raid situational Macros (Target this or that macros)

I should do a video and post some action pics. Next time i go 25 random easy.. i will do that.

is there any better way to to show that ?
