Hello all. My name is Joe, I'm an American photographer. I've lived in China for 8 years, in several different cities. I just moved to Yangzhou from Chongqing.

I've been playing WoW since the US closed beta. I have 7 level 85s on another server, and I will be transferring them to Altarac in a few days. I've hesitated so long because I don't like Horde and I find the guild name to be silly and insulting, but I'm just so bored playing by myself, I don't know where else to find a bunch of English speakers.

It's not about the guild name or side u play in china if u want to have fun with other expats!!!
Many of us play for long time in china and had to make sacrifices, I gave up the guild who started it al(except the gm char;)l but it was worth it to see 15 other foreigners online and not having trouble to raid or have fun ingame . Welcome mate

Ooh "The Crossroads" is an awesome name for a group of players from around the world, gathering in one place.

I just disabled the guild names from the interface, I'll never have to see it so hopefully I can forget it.

I think he meant the place where roads converge into one point and the point where they converge makes a shape like a cross.
