My brother in the UK played it and said it was pretty good. But Star Wars the old republic BLOCKS Chinese IP's totally.

Any suggestions on a VPN I could use to play it with my brother in the UK?

swotr is not bad tried the beta but its not for me. WTFast is the only service i use for online gaming, VPN services normally dont support games.

Get ready for Guild Wars 2 we played the beta weekend and its awesome.

I have heard some good things about Guild War's two but I am getting a bit bored of the same fantasy setting. Ever Quest, Guild Wars 1 and WOW. Just fancy something a bit different.

I would play The Secret World but with the ways things are going that will no doubt be blocked too.

I feel the same than you, new games but in the end they are only some wow clones, cept you need to relearn everything. Hopefuly diablo 3 will be refreshing. You can also try Eve online, a spaceship mmo.

EVE was pretty good in regards to leg. The way the game played it felt like I didnt lag at all.

My problem is with the gameplay. Essentially you have a job. So I was paying to have a job in the future that i didnt get paid for. Thus ended my career as a space prospector .

By the way playing from china would I get better lag playing US servers or UK servers, and would it matter?

On rift and swotr, wow I get better/ stable pings with wtfast on Europe server, I use a Netherlands server in wtfast. For guild wars 2 beta it was better on the oceanic server with a LA connection.

I just see they have open the Asia pacific server, that might make it interesting to play while waiting for GW2. Could you ask your friend to send me a friend trial request?

Can they get/give trial requests?

If he is on the UK servers and he invites you can you choose to play on any server, such as the asian ones, with the code he gives you?

Yes every existing/ paid account can send 20friend invites(trial)! Any client is capable of choosing the Asia/ pacific servers as I understood it from the swotr webpage.
So I just need to find someone who sends a invite to my email. If no one here can help I use people from the official forum.

I actually have an account that I still have i think.... I tried SWTOR it was a pain to level up your character and the content was extremely repetitive. I would not recommend it.
