i have a problem, my account got locked today because of the 我们的登陆系统侦测到您的访问模式发生了变化, smth like my login was different and they locked my account.

then it said that i have to change password, i typed my login, chinese name i used (but there were surname and name but i dont remember how exactly i registered, it was 1 year ago, i tried all combinations anyway, only 2 characters), but still said that email and name doesnt match and then that i did too much attempts and advised me to contact through telephone (密码重置失败次数过多。 提示：如果您遗忘某些注册信息，建议您尝试电话验证。您可以拨打客服热线：0571-28090163（转1转1再转2），根据语音提示进行身份信息验证后进行密码重新设置)

i have a little suspicion that it got stolen, but i really have no idea who might that be, nobody has access to my computer and i dont have irl friends who play wow, troyans not possible too. also didn't click on fake wow links.

it's just that i spoke to a guy in our realm, he asked me "am i really a foreigner" and all this stuff, he was 1 lvl, made a char specially to whisper me a few questions, so maybe, just maybe, he could tell on me, like i am using not my real name and id number, is that possible? what do you think? i talked to him yesterday and exactly 24 hours later my account is locked, seems too strange for a coincidence.

or another guess: i told him my chinese name and it doesnt match my name on account, so maybe GM (or this guy himself) could look at this chat and lock my account, i dont know.

So any of you guys had the same problem?

i will try to use this page (https://www.battlenet.com.cn/support/webform.xml?locale=zh_CN) when i get id scan, because it looks like the easiest way. i still really dont want to lose this account, it's just not possible for me to start all over again..

if "我们的登陆系统侦测到您的访问模式发生了变化" means what I think it means, then this happened to me for WoW-North America. Whenever I log on from a different IP address, they give me this message (in english of course) and lock my account. To recover, I literally had to email them a photocopy of my identification + my student visa to provide proof that i'm a legit player in china. Their policy has been more lenient now when it comes to recovering my account now from logging in using different IPs. All I have to do is just simply click a few buttons in the email they send me.

Anyways, it doesn't sound like your account is stolen if you logged on from a different region. They are just being a pain in the ass when it comes to recovering it. Did you happen to use a tunneling proxy service that also changed your IP address without you knowing? I only encountered this problem when I use Lowerping proxies for WoW-NA/Starcraft2 a year ago.

yes, i might have been used Freegate, it sometimes changes ip not only to IE, but other programs as well. i'll try send them id scan when i get it, hope it will go ok.

!00% sure you got this because you changed your IP with a program. This is a basic security with battlenet, works the same for every regions. Usally they will ask you for your secret answer and stuff like this.

Gets ugly if you don't remember those things, happened to me too once lol.

Hopefully you got the ID from a friend of you so he can help you recover your account.
