Hey all.. I broke something.
My lvl 60 toon went through the dark portal and something crashed on the other side. Seems the client is looking to check the data stream and it can't. Also, I managed to corrupt my US backups which might fix the problem. Now my poor toon is lost in limbo and needs urgent saving before she is eaten by a Grue.

Would someone mind sharing the current US files for me?

I don't have the files in hand but I think you can use the launcher to update the files. Also did you try to cross the portal without any addons?

Launcher is gimped.. I get the chinese error message when I try to run, and yes.. when I crossed the portal I was add-on free.

I can't load that character anymore as she is stuck in an unloadable state. I just reinstalled the Chinese client to get her out of the portal, then I'll try reloading with the English client.

I still think I'm going to need the US version '.exe's and the config file though.. or I just won't use her until the next update..

I won't need the files anymore. I downloaded both a new Chinese client and a new US client on my work computer which I will keep current. I can use these as a source for farming the files I need. Also.. if the community needs files, let me know here or via PM and I'll send them over.
