A few days ago I downloaded a free shooter called TRIBES:ASCEND normally I don't like shooters very much but I played TRIBES one back in the 90s so I gave it a try. I am absolutely loving it. It's got loads of classes, weapons and vehicles and game play is a ton of fun. You CAN play FREE forever. I decided to pay 29$ for a basic starter package after playing for 3 days to get some weapons unlocked faster. (I'm impatient).

One AMAZING feature of this game for us in Asia is that you can select any region in the world to play using the same account. I've had very little trouble playing on American West, but you can also pick Asia or another region. So any progress you make towards unlocking weapons won't be wasted if you move later.
