While surfing chinese amazon (www.amazon.cn) i came across ..... THE RELEASE OF MOP Special Edition Pack! .. its on pre sale, and delivery date is October 15th ! , im guessing thats the release date of mop?. =)

I believe that the Battle for Theramore scenario will be unlocked 7 days prior to this day.

That would seem an awfully long time to be playing patch 5.04 since the US only got it for a few weeks.

I believe we will get it sooner, does anybody remember how long after the US got Cata that China did?

are you sure its chinese wow and not taiwan wow which usually lauch 3 days later after usa. also i never wowcn getting special edition.

Whats all this about a special edition? Crap, do we have to actually buy MoP on CWOW now? I'm so used to freebie expacs Smile

You don't have to buy the Special Edition to play the expansion. This edition just gives you a unique mount and a pet in-game that's all (not counting the Artbook, CD with the soundtrack and all other fancy things). It's the first time that WoWCN offers you to buy a Collector's Edition.

what i been hear ing is first level is free by turning 1 quest in automatic turn 86 so i image 1 or 2 day duelable too 90

The Scenario should be unlocked a week before the expansion's launch, just as Blizzard did on EU and US realms. We should keep an eye on the Scenario queue interface to see if it is unlocked. Minimum item level to do it is 353.

Getting to 86 was free in beta only by turning 1 quest, because the first zone to level "The Jade Forest" was closed due to rebuilding and inaccessible for players.
Just like from WotLK to Cata we will be able to turn 25 daily quests back when MoP launches. 4.583.000 XP is needed to ding 85, to ding 86 you will need 13M XP, so even after turning those 25 quests there is a long way before you to get to 86. Not that quick. Also XP to level from 86 to 90 has been increased by 55% in a beta build and will apply on Live realms(32,8M XP to ding 90). When I played at the beginning of beta I used to make one level per each zone in Pandaria, now it's gonna take a little bit more than that.

CN beta didn't have jade forest? seems like I have a leg up on the locals then Smile

Expect zzzmore scenario a week before, not that it's even worth it really...

MoP launch on EU realms wasn't good.
After 20 mins of playing the game crashed.
When trying to log in you either got to "Connecting" only or you were
stuck at the loading screen at 90% and couldn't log in.

TW realms get MoP on September 27th, I wonder if they're gonna have the same problem as the EU ones.

A week behind isn't so bad. Hopefully NPC scan is updated and CWOW can have a smoother launch from US/EU/TW/KR's pain Smile

MoP launch on TW realms was very smooth.
No DCs, crashes, lags or any other problems.

Almost in every low level dungeon there are 5 monks in the group Very Happy

Hopefully on CN it will go as nice as on TW.

Good to hear! Does anyone know of the TIME on the second the game will launch? All I've heard is the second this the second that, but no specifics yet...
