Last night I found an email telling me that I have been caught using a program in wow for financial gain and that I need to go to www,blizzward,com to verify my account with my login info. (I may or may not have been doing "things" )

Anyway the message is written as of below:

"From: 战网监检测组
Subject: 网 易战网客 服团队

亲爱的玩家：
经过审查，我们发现您的帐号
在游戏中利用战网服务和/或游戏内
容进行商业牟利。请登陆此官方网
站提交你的正确帐户信息以便我们
审核： www,blizzward,com
否则，根据《战网使用条款》、
《魔兽世界中文版使用条款》、
《 游戏管理规则》，我们将对你
的《魔兽世界》帐号采取“冻结”
的处理措施且收回用于商业牟利
的游戏内容。

The mail looked a little fishy so I checked www,blizzward,com on baidu and found that this is a phishing website so basically a person pretending to be an official trying to trick you of your account.

I advise you if you receive this mail as well or something similar please double check or ask a GM to verify before doing anything like inputting your sensitive info.

Some people may know about this already but I just want to people to be notified and protected ^^ Yes I am actually nice contrary to popular belief.


Anyway have fun play safe and do not report me afk in BG D:
