Hi everyone!
I heard today chinese wow server will have 5.2 patch so i updated with luncher. However, when i attempted to log in, it said that I need to update more game data. And then my client automatically shut off itself (from 0% and never move after that shut off itself)

I think updating with luncher is the problem. Is there anyone know how to fix this problem or downgrade client version?

I my case all the servers are red while login. Are we having 5.2. now or not?

I had the same issue, red servers, and it was timing out while connecting. Launcher was also unable to update.

Following the instructions here:

I deleted the wow.*fil files, the cache directory, and the \progdata\battle.net directory.

I then changed my launcher.db to read "enus," and made the following changes to WTF\config.wtf

Removed:

SET portal "cn"
SET realmName "奥特兰克"

Added

SET portal "en"

I made a copy of wow.exe 5.1 (turns out this was unnecessary), and then ran launcher. It succesfully repaired and updated wow.exe to ver 5.2.

I changed my config.wtf back to cn portal, and changed launcher.db back to zhcn.

Finally, I ran wow.exe ver 5.2, and I was able to successfully connect.
