Ok, I'm new here but I have something urgent to talk about. I recently recovered my account, and I can log in now, but I can't log into the game server! Please help me, it keeps saying "You have been disconnected from the server".

Hey, looks to me like you have connection problems. Are you in Shanghai or in another city? if in another city, try VPN.

im in shanghai, i read an earlier post it said "i am sure everyone is a bit busy. The update is simple. revert your exe, launcher and config... then update, then change the config back and run.

Go into your WoW folder, and open Launcher.db with Notepad (right-click - > open with). If it says zhCN, then change it to enUS. Afterwards, go to the WTF folder and open Config.wtf with Notepad.

Change the following:

Code:

set portal "cn"

to

Code:

set portal "us"

and

Code:

set realmlist "cn.logon.worldofwarcraft.com"

to

Code:

set realmlist "us.logon.worldwarcraft.com"

Once, you're done with that, go back to your main WoW folder and click on Launcher.exe. If it's called Launcher.exe.bak rename it to Launcher.exe.
Once the update is finished, revert everything mentioned. If it's not clear, revert enUS in Launcher.db to zhCN.
In Config.wtf, revert "us" to "cn".

Please, please read the guide. They are there for this and we've spent a lot of time on them.

OMG theres no launcher.exe and set realmlist "cn.logon.worldofwarcraft.com"...... so i added realmlist to the text but it still doesnt work

If there's no launcher.exe, you can't update to the newest patch. Downloading a launcher from the internet will probably cause game corruption too. I think you reinstall, let it update to full then follow the steps above.

Then they'll be no launcher.exe but launcher.app .

If you still don't have it, download a new game client from the link above and follow the mac guide in my signature.

yo urabaen it doesnt say .app it just says world of warcraft launcher, world of warcraft- 64, and world of warcraft. how do i name these?

Let it update to full first.

Once it's done, repeat the stuff above with CN and US. You have to rename the Launcher only btw. So command-I or right-click "get info", it should say WoW Launcher.app. Add .bak after .app and confirm.
