I voted for horde, naturally, because it is indeed, the best faction .

I dont feel its that interresting to say we prefer hord or alliance.

A best faction vote would have been more interresting for the npc faction we most adhere to the background.

As a paladin, id say the Argent Dawn Thorium Brotherhood is a cool faction maybe getting a bit old now; Cenarius has a quite strong background as well, but I feel less close to their culture

Well, what I know from reputation (never played there) is that alliance is for kids on EU/US servers. So it's nicer to go hord.
Is that true?

Here, I've tested both, and franckly, i don't see any difference. So, I will vote for alliance, because toon graphism is nicer (TBC isn't released yet; ,no blood elf to make the difference).

elves pfeels weird on horde side, too fxxx weird.

horde has more important heroes on their side, e.g. thrasll, sylvanas, cain.

while the allies got what? a kid, illidan's brother and that huntress.
Horde got more flavor so voting horde.

how the human males looks, moves and stealth weirdly, they really need some tweaking on those arms they are not natural. the chicks are hot tho

the best ally is a dwarf, they look cool and awesome. except sometimes you dunno if that is a male or a female dwarf

Taurens are all okay...except their wrist
Orcs i dont like female orcs, especially female orcs warlocks, when they cast that HP conversion to MP they look like they are smelling their armpits. plus a green cloud of gas pumps out.
Male orcs need something to be done with their shoulder. They are way too big, actually oversized, they are almost as big as their chest so they basically have 3 chests :S

Trolls are so...style... just too much style so gansta

HORDE!!!!
Been playing horde since forever and tried an alliance untill lvl 10.
Coundn't stand it and came back to horde.

The Horde got much better quest; easier to access dungeons(the good ones) and we got zepplings!!!

There's nothing bad about alliance except that their quests seems to be much harder than the horde's; just something I notice while playing as them.

And just my personal opinion there's nothing special about alliance's 4 race; we have Human, human with pointy ears, short human, shortest human.

And I agreed that elf got no place in the horde. They just don't fit in graphically. In the left we got a mean green Orc, on the right we got a Big cow then in the middle we got a pointy ear human.....right!

they could've give us the panderen or even the draenai; or half ogre like rexxor.

I just recently moved over to the horde side. I have to say that more alliance players are for glam....more horde players are for racials. It really shows in BGs too. On SH 1 servers, the horde simply kicks ass all over the alliance in about 80% of matches now. The horde fights in groups and heals each other. Very nice team play. I've noticed more ally players just charging in solo.

Just before moving over, I played a druid to 29. In one BG....I was healing an ally rogue...and he fecking RAN from a 2 vs 1 fight while I was healing him. The warrior we were up against was at 25% and I was at 75% mana. Why the hell would you run away?

BTW, I'm playing on pouetpou's server as Toad. Look me up if you're there.

I've also gotta add that druids are fun as hell to play. I never really paid too much attention to the class, but after frogging around a bit, I really enjoy it. I can't remember when I've had so much fun playing. I'm NOT enjoying starting over with no $$/gear/bags, but I'll get past that soon enough

Thats quite well sum up, there is nothing special about allies. On the hord side, I find the taurens are nice but the trolls rock much more; havent tried on the chinese version yet, but trolls have a french caribbean black accent to make the voodoo and mojo atmosphere. And the way they move their body when walking or running, with the arms hanging down... My favourite race fersure
The only races I really cant understand is forsaken; despite nice racial benefits, I cant make it through the horrible skin/sounds; besides they look so weak (in every meaning of the word);

Still about forsaken, their so-called background is quite weird; imo they shouldnt be forsaken but real undead and should never be allied with any other factions. You add them 2 capitals, let them the choice of 4 races (zombies, skeleton, ghouls, wraith) and you got a new faction.

About the forsaken they earn their place man, in war3 you should've seen savanas enslave varimaturas, make him kill his buddies and hold out on a overwhelming force of the scorge.

Of the 4 horde race the forsaken and the orc got the most badass background and storyline.

I donno, I guess their features isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I like them did I mention warlock's T5 just look freaking awesome on an undead?

I would say that I think Horde is the best playable at the grafic level because the diferent races are reallly diferent grafically talking...look the taurens and undead....And in the Alliance side all the races are almost the same...gnome is a tiny tiny human, dwarf are tiny human and elfs are human with style and long ears :p !!!!

But at the gameplay level I don't really know if there's a big difference in each faction...I think you find all the same advantages that you have in some hordes races in some alliance races ?? no??

The server goes on maintainance each tuesday from about 2am to 11 am wednesday.

I think the horde got MUCH better racials except for the trolls,

undead got WOTF which effectively make them able to break fear twice with the trinket plus they can eat corpse that replenish their health which are good for warriors, rogues and warlock that use life tap.

Moo Moo cows (taurens) got war stomp which I use often as a druid; in pvp I usually stomp-root then run and heal. in pve I usually just stomp-heal morph to bear and keep on.

Orc got about 15% stun resistant, most people under estimate how powerful this is, I used to play a shaman up to 45 and during pvp sometimes the warriors are surprised at why their charge could not hold me, and it almost ALWAYS messed up a rogue"s stun lock.

Telling from experience; pvping as a rogue is like a chess game already played out on your mind before the battle is engage; they can afford to do that because they got stealth. Usually if only ONE of their stun missed or resisted, their whole game is messed up.

Most people"s mind isn"t quick enough to improvise a new game plan in the heat of the battle, it usually cost them their game with only one stun resisted.

Therefore Orc warriors are the ultimate anti rogue.

overall I feel that the horde got better racials, but I shouldn"t judge because I hardly play alliance.

Technically what you see after loging on is a realm list, not a server one. Im still not quite sure whether we see full realms or not. In France we did and could join (just got a warning message to say its full and will have even more queues)

trust me, aodelanke realm is never full, in fact it's "low" population. at this rate we might even see a server merge.

If you see no realm and can't login it's probably because of the tuesday maintainance hours.
