Hi everyone!

Me and my Chinese friends have moved to the server Alterac Mountains - 奥特兰克 CN1.
We are currently playing with other foreign players in this server and are looking for more active PVP players.

Unorthodox Gaming (Alliance)

Introduction to our guild:

We are a group of foreign players that have played wow for more than 5 years, we are also playing in the same guild with chinese elite pvp players that have gladiator titles in numerous seasons.
Currently we are looking to start fresh and gather more players in our guild to progress into Rated Battleground and set more comps for our Arena Teams.

Recruitment:

We are looking for PVP players and potential raiding players.
While we encourage that players that join us have at least a good PVP background we are also open to new PVP players and guide them through WOW PVP.

Transfers or Leveling:

We are welcoming more players to our guild, with this we would be able to help out with the RECRUIT A FRIEND method and also make your leveling enjoyable with us and helping new players with items and gears.

Rated Battleground:

For those interested we are in need of the following classes mainly --
Paladin - Holy/Ret
Shaman - Ele/Resto
Druid - Resto/Guardian/Boom
Warlock - All spec
Warrior - All spec
DeathKnight - All spec

Other classes are welcome as well.

Arena:

Paladin - Holy/Ret
Warlock - Affliction/Destro
Warrior - Arms/Fury
Shaman  - All Specs
*We are looking for active players to progress into rating on our 3s and 5s teams.
Our groups for Arena have an exponential experience from 2000's and higher rating and we are in need of more players, both experienced and active are highly preferred.

I think our leader got a typo, the guild name is Unorthodox Gaming like he mentioned below, not method ))

Just in case some of you are wondering what class we have in stock, we got a bunch of mages, priests, and hunters but 0 holy paly.

We also got three traitors from the horde : Me, Tora and barrax/sideshowbob.

This has been also told to me by Tranquility players as well.
As we have played with some TCW members before in RBG games (I was Varimathas), we transferred here knowing that our old team mates are here in alliance.
And I would like to point out that 5 of us from different server transferred here in the sole basis of playing with our old team mates back from Cata RBG.

We respect each and every players opinions and we also take caution in going into matters that involves drama.

Nonetheless, players that are interested in doing progressive and fun PVP please /who Unorthodox Gaming members for an invite.

There's no drama, Uru (well, there was, but no one gives a shit about it anymore).

We've come to know people on the Alliance side (some whom were strangers and some whom are friends who transferred across servers and factions to play with us). Think of this thread simply as a recruit post for foreigners who might come across this forum, nothing more.

Thanks for clearing that up.

It's too bad really, that we can't all play together as one entity but I guess it was expected.
Anyways, I've stickied this thread. Wish you the best and will come play with you guys from time to time.

the server is callsed Alterac Mountains, not Alterac Valley

Just translated 奥特兰克 straight to English which is Alterac and assumed its called Alterac Valley.

I don't think so. Tranquility and UG pretty much merged I'm guessing.

Are you in need of healers? I've got my resto shaman, full pvp (although 476 ; haven't had the time for conquest cap) and while they aren't the best healers atm, still a healer  !

Yes! Your shaman is more than welcome to join us, as for the conquest cap don't worry because there are alot of us who can help you cap conquest fast.

Is this guild still active?

I'm considering to start playing WoW again together with my girlfriend, so Im searching for an English speaking guild.

My girlfriend has zero experience playing WOW - My experience is..... reached the finals in blizzcon 5vs5 tournament in tbc, multiple gladiators titles, played in Europe's highest rated battleground team in cataclysm... officer in one of the two best pvp guilds in Europe in wotlk/cata... I stopped playing WoW around when MoP was released.... so now I am kinda rusty

No, the guild isn't active anymore.

If your focus is PvP, then you currently have a couple of sub-optimal options:

1. Play on Alterac Horde, which is a pretty Horde-unfriendly server, given that the faction is outnumbered (and increasingly so) by aggressive/bored Alliance players. There are about 8 people online every night, most of whom don't PvP (or PvP on a lower level).

2. Roll a character on a high population PvP server, join a Chinese guild, and make friends with Chinese PvPers to PvP. You'll have to speak decent Chinese, of course. I plan to do both pve and pvp. Maybe Alterac horde is a good choice. The most important is that there's a foreign community since I dont speak much Chinese

No problem.

In that case, Alterac could be a good fit, but don't be against transferring out of the server when WoD hits, as I predict a faction exodus if the population trend continues. Having a girlfriend myself who played WoW, I probably will play with her on another server when the expansion hits to avoid the inevitable ganking.
