ala let you access their DB vie itemID (same Id than in-game, by the way) and then sends the data in variables back to the client, whereas your website in its source only uses placeholders for the variables.
those will then be replaced by the text and images sent from alakhazam's database.
i used it on i5studios.com before.

PS: globuline, your webhost (for tthe site you need) should always offer site statistics in some admin panel for you. they all do.

But for Alakazan, I looked and I don't think that website will help us to set up that add on on our website, they use something like this but I'am not sure that they provide it to other people.....but I looked for only a small amount of time, my internet connection is not working well this days....
And for the statistics Naklin is right, most of the webhost offer the webstatistics functionnality somewhere in the admin panel or something like that, but, we we'll see, tell me when you want to do it and we will

about the item links, I think it's just something to add in the html code .... some link to the images and comments, I think something like that..I will continue to search

thottbot uses java script I think, I'm not good with programming so can't help much. you probably have to indentify the decleared constants at the beginning of the source then their variables on each item link, I donno.

anyway check wowhead, they seem to have easier to understand source than others.

It's not hard to install it on the website, but in French only! Even when i was putting an item ID number which was in English, it transformed itslef into French..... Plus it's not really useful for the website, it's more for the forum.

And on the forum, I tried today and...didn't find the solution yet. I need to install this phpbb thing, but how is the biggest question.

And if we manage to do this, we'll still have to get the item ID number everytime we wanna post it. 很方便。。。

to create a second layer on a web, yes, you must use javascript. 1 line of script which you then call at any time in your html. piece of cake, you find it anywhere. but alla offers it for you already, hosted.

gonna find their page again. because it is easy.
(PS: if you dont like javascript, use dhtml. also ok for layers. just not so clean code)
