I so apologize ahead of time if this has been answered before. I have used the search function and nothing has really answered this questions..

My girlfriend speaks chinese and no english but wants to play wow in the US. I have characters already in the US server and I dont feel like starting over on Chinese servers, so is there a way to get her on? Ive tried changing the realmlist, but it doesnt seem to work. I get a splashscreen before logging in that requires you to click on one of the server numbers.

One way I was thinking about was trying to maybe modify US Warcraft so that she can understand the quests? Ive been looking for a while now and came up empty.. any ideas?

she can either use chinese wow to log on to US server or US wow to log on CHN wow.
depending where you live, one solution has more social life or less, and one solution will have better lag, or bad one.

I tried using chinese wow to log on the US server by changing the realmlist.wtf.. but it doesnt seem to work.. what happens is that I get a splash screen prior to login that requires you to click on realm 1-6.. Then it takes you to the login page.. Unless I am doing something wrong?

you are loading WOW via the loader. try executing WOW.EXE directly.
also, if you wish to use chinese wow to connect to the US server, you should replace the WOW.EXE from the chinese game with a WOW.EXE from the US game (otherwise the USA server will tell you the version is not right (there is a slight difference in version builds between the two, but it doesnt affect gameplay).

NOTE: make a backup of the chinese WOW.EXE before replacing it. you need it again when oyu need to patch the game, or the patcher will tell you something about an unrecognized version and version mismatch.

I have a question : I would like to play on european servers from a cyber cafe? Is there a way or not ? Maybe by copying the european wow.exe on a memory stick (don t know the size). Or maybe some cyber have the european version too...
I have the game on my laptop but only got a wireless connection that sucks and disconnect me frome server after 10 secs...as I am only here untill the end of december, i think I can t have another better connection...

Please help me, or I will have to join you on chinese server^^
