Good news about TBC, but for now it seems we have another ZHCn patch that puts us off cycle from the regular patches (and thus complicates using a non-ZHCn client). Hopefully the good folks here will come up with another work around.

The news about TBC release is welcome, but I wonder how that will work for us here. Specifically, I wonder if there will be any trouble getting a non-ZHCn client to recognize TBC content without a TBC product key from the client's country of origin (for example, the US).

By the way -- first post here. Greetings, and thanks to all for making it easier for those of us who can't read Chinese to play WoW in China.

I couldn't see if we can go to the outland ( my main Realm is not opened yet) but that's a very, very good start!

Confirmed -- TBC races are now selectable and can be started.

Could a nice Admin straighten out the mess with my name? Not sure how that happened, it wasn't showing as an e-mail address when I set the account up. Thanks

Have not had the chance to check the Portal or new crafting professions yet.

Did try to substitute the patched WoW.exe file with my US client. I get a message that the account is TBC enabled, but that the computer needs to have the TBC update installed. Both the US and UK sites have it available for download ... if you are using an account they recognize.

Any suggested work around?

I installed the new patch for the chinese version (2.1.4.7192) and I copied the WoW.exe file in to my French version and IT WORKS GREAT

Did you patch you FR client to 2.2.0 ? or are you keeping the 2.1.3 ?
