Basically, the number is a zone : Shanghai 1, Beijing 2, Guandong 4... And since there are more and more people, there are more zone like Beijing 5 I think...

So, choose the one where you live the closer to for game speed reason, or where you have friends already. Shanghai 1 has several guilds, guangdong 4 too.

For your other question in your PM, your game will be in English since you have the English version of it.
