Hello,

My name is Alexis, I'm French and I live in Dalian (Liaoning province). Are there people from Liaoning too here ?

I want to play on a Chinese server but first I'd like to know on which server is the biggest Horde side foreigners guild (how many members ? active PvE PvP ?). In priority in North China servers.

How is the latency now from North China to Shanghai ? (I have only 400 when I play on my French server)

I'm experienced in playing heal-shaman, but maybe I'll create a troll discipline-priest.

Another question : what is the current version now in China ?

China doesn't have yet woltk. wow 3.05.

Damn people from Beijing have a good ping to wow europe, i was talking yesterday with a priest which have 450ms without proxy.

In shanghai, Nantong, Suzhou it's impossible to play without proxy. (i get arround 450ms to 600ms with proxy)

by the way on which french server are you playing ?

(i play on ner'zhul realm, battleground cataclysme for europe / on alterac in china)

Ahaha, don't kick me, but I play in a private server (though not a fun serv, it's a Blizz-like one with about 2000 players). The name is Darluok.

So they play 3.0.5, right ?

(btw, how to use a proxy to play WoW ?)

Whatever, yesterday i was talking to a french player playing on wow europe, he told me that most of the time he's playing with 400-500 ms without proxy, seems that beijing ISP are better than there..

Yes, they play 3.05 but without Northend content.

Concerning the proxy, you just have to set ports use for port 3724. I personnaly use S5Proxy v1.11 (easy to use)

BTW last time the proxy service that i use was down ( http://cp.s5proxy.com ) I try to find some free s5 proxy, i found 3 which where working great Surprised

I've already opened the ports in my router, but is a proxy more than that ? (I'm not in Beijing, I'm in Dalian, near Corea).

What about the big expats guilds in North China servers ?
