Hello all,

that has been a long time since I have played the game and it seems that it changed so much that I don't know it anymore..

For example: warriors and paladins have a special technique to swirl their weapons, they are not affected by any snare or trap (i think sheep and fear don't work either)

Is it some talent available in both class tree? Is it a weapon they can have and other class can't? Is it something else?

It's pretty powerful anyway: unstoppable and deals quite a respectable deal of damage (AoE?)

Any hint appreciated!

Since well, our "special version" of TBC,
- warriors have been able to use there last ability in the Arms tree: Bladestorm. They just spin around for seconds with their weapons.
- I'm not really sure what you mean when you write "swirl" their weapons for paladins since, well, it doesn't actually apply to the class. Maybe Divine Storm? It's the last talent in the retribution tree, another gay aoe.

For paladins, I've actually seen them using a nerfed version of it, especially the bots we have on the pvp bg (Warsong). They cast it and Hand of Freedom at the same time - it used to be a Blessing, I dont even know what is an Hand - or maybe they just cast Hand of Freedom and deal damage at the same time, I might get confused by the visual..

I got so estranged with the game; I've seen recently on a forum that frost mage are pvp and fire mage are pve now.
It used to be the contrary..

best DPS for mage in PVE is now arcane gayness 2 button mashin

it's viable for PVP too, although it lacks the control of frost mages. Arcane mages wait for their rogue's stun, pop all cooldowns and trinkets and crit your ass off.

Frost>Fire now ^^

bladestorm is useless in cata.... thats why i stopped playing warrior, i wish it would cut through pillars and chop enemies legs off and root them for 10 sec.

If they have no legs, I doubt you need to root them....

Bladestorm still can be used to flee ( °°). At least you wont be CC at all for 10 secs every 1,5 mins... not so bad

i stopped playing warrior, its getting easier and easier to play... 4.2 Reck,Sheild wall,retal require no stances.good bye

When it comes to the patch where all the talents change divine storm becomes pretty sweet. even more so when you hit 85 =)
