hooo so many false ideas and bad specs in here...

the best specs for warlock dps pre TBC are:

30/0/21 (ruin, +10%shadow dam, bane, imp shadow bolt)
7/21/21 +2 (demon sac, bane imp shadow bolt, ruin)
0/30/21 (imp out, bane, imp shadow bolt, bane)

other spec are just not as good.

bane makes your shadow bolt deal 20%more damage.
ruin increases your total damage by 1%for each1%crit you have.
imp shadow bolt = +20%damage after a crit bolt (dot do not consume the buff but are affected by it)

7/21/21+2 is the highest possible damage but it means no pet, which is kind of bad in my opinion.

30/0/21 is my favorite, you loose 5%shadow dam for useless talents and imp buff.

0/30/21 is for when you have lots of +dam, the imp is your super hero as he decreases your threat by 20% (only way for a warlock to reduce his aggro).

PvP builds are totally differents with main focus on either heacy destruction (conflag) / soul link / curse of exhaustion.

after TBC is another story.

Nb: with this build i'm always in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in BG classment.
Max fatal kill, max kill and max Dammage infliged. I use the fire stone to increase fire dammage...

This build show me the other face of the power of the warlock... all in DPS (fire/shadow), but really need to be carefull of OT, more than an affli build...

Destruction is the best warlock DPS spec at 70 but only after you have a couple T5, before you should be better as affliction (harder to play though).

Affliction was my 1st and normal build with a warlock... sure it's good, but wanna change... the game play is totaly different but very fun. Need a better crit frequency now )

yes, i got a druid lvl 60 (full T1) + a rogue LVL 60 (full green lol) + a warlock lvl 48 on maduolan server. infortunatly i lost the folder to change realm... i went to play with romainh on maduolan since he got his computer repaired. Juliask,Charly, Romainh, salino (thanks for the epic item !) and now i cannot go back to aodelanke (only if someone send me the fodler config machin).

U measn realmlist.wtf ???

he means config.wtf inside the WTF folder.
there is a whole thread, pouet.
you only have to change the chinese letters in the file.
and write the new relml name and save it.

PS: the realmlist bug will NEVER be repaired. i found the reason, we will have this problem forever now.

Here is a good build for Warlocks looking to solo to lvl 70 and have fun with pets. It's what I'm doing. Also please note put your frist 5 points in Improved Corruption. After that concentrate on the entire Demonology skill tree. Once that is full go back to Affliction.

your build seems not bad but currently i am having fun with my build with no OOM situaition. Maybe LOM at times but i steal mana from my pet...lol

summon blue pet will reduce 10% domage on you + soul link 20% and Shadow embrase who will reduce 5% domage infliged on you...

Curse of exhaustion permit to finish runners ^^ , usefull in BGn especialy to stop the man who got the flag.

possible to modify it in 27/34 ^^ take the +3 of empowered coruption and put them in Demonic resilience should be fine also ! it could reduce the domage taken by your pet for you by 15% + give you 3% resilience.
